Women Rights Equal Pay Questions asked
Open Question: When I hear the word 'rights' i think legislation....so what 'rights' do women not have?
I'm really talking about the WEST here I know women in the East are oppressed. But what is the list of rights from a legal perspective that women do not have compared to men? Like men are by law undeserved in the breakdown of a family, I.E. divorce settlements, child custody. This would be the only really LEGAL manor in which men are discriminated against on basis of sex. Every other problem men suffer from is due to some sort of prejudice or afraid of looking sexist toward the woman, PCness etc.... So what LAWS do not grant equal rights to women. BTW, bear in mind it is ILLEGAL to pay women less money than men on basis of sex. So i don't want to hear crying about unequal pay. LOLBetty - Yes that's what I though. There is no way women do not have legal rights in any field. Maybe the military is legal problem but I'm sure that's more to do with chivalry on the higher officer's part. It's seems women have every legal right along with men. The problems between the genders are social not legal. moreOpen Question: Would you vote for me? What party am I?
I am a conservative on fiscal issues but on other issues I differ: 1. Taxes: The less the better on everything but we do need some sort of tax structure to pay for our government. I believe in one 'fair tax" system 2. Healthcare: I agree that something needs to be done about healthcare; it is out of control in this country. I do NOT believe the answer is socialized medicine. I would start by putting a cap/limitations on healthcare lawsuits and giving each family a tax credit (much bigger one than McCain talked about) for buying a policy. But then it would be MANDATORY that everyone buys their own policy no matter what (just like car insurance is mandatory) and you will get fined if you are not covered. I would deregulate the healthcare insurance system so that insurance companies would be more competitive in their pricing. I would also set up a scholarship/recruitment programs to encourage people to get degrees in medicine. We need more healthcare workers! 3. I am a Christian but would not force my ways down somebody's throat. It is irrelevant and against the constitution to do this. I do believe a high standard of morals no matter what religion you are. This is very important if you are in a leadership position. I would lead by example 4. Energy: I believe we need to tap into our natural resources, like natural gas and oil. Natural Gas is something I would target in a big way. Solar and Wind are okay but cannot be used everywhere in the country so more research on Nuclear would be my choice to make it safer to use. I would not pass a cap and trade to do this! I would come up with a tax credit system for businesses transitioning to "greener" methods of producing consumer products. I would map out a deadline date when all business would have to be "green" by or they would no longer get the tax credit and would have to shut down. Plain and simple. The cap and trade does not do enough to help with the environment. It just allows companies to keep producing carbon emissions by passing on the cost of their permits to the consumer OR move overseas and take jobs out of the USA. 5. Abortion: I do not believe in abortion unless extreme case such as rape or incest...or medical reasons for the mother's health. I understand that the government should not tell a woman what to do with her body..However, it is not the governments telling women to go out and have irresponsible sex. There are MANY methods of birth control now days. Abortion is murder, plain and simple. The government puts most murders in prison. 6. Gay Marriage- do not believe there is such a thing as gay marriage but would support some other form of "partnership" for gays so that they have equal rights. I do not believe it is my right to tell Gays how to live their lives but I also do not think they should try to force their lifestyle down my throat either. 7. Our huge deficit and weakened dollar: Something needs to be done about this serious issue that is growing worse daily. Even though I did not agree with McCain on a lot of things, I liked his idea of cutting government spending in half basically for several years so we could play "catch up". We also need to not have ANY pork spending. Sorry special interest groups, you need to raise your own money through non-profit. Something has to suffer when the deficit is this big, and creating tunnels for turtles/vs. preventing inflation or bankruptcy of our nation is really the priority right now. 8. Foreign Policy: I would not go around starting wars for no reason. Sorry Bush supporters. Iraq was not a very useful use of our tax dollars. I would spend lots of time visiting with all nation leaders. I would not ignore the UN (even thought they do seem useless at times). I would stand by our allies. I would stand very firm against countries that are unfriendly like N.Korea, Iran..etc. I WOULD support the military uprising in Honduras. No president should try what that guy did. Those are the countries, that if they DID provoke us through terrorism and/or an attack.... I would consider having a war..there would be a REASON. 9. Gun control- not sure how I feel about this one. I do believe we should have a right to bear arms and defend ourselves but I do think that there are too many gun related deaths in the USA. Would have to figure out how to regulate it. I just hate guns. I do not feel like it is "cool" to own one. I am sure I left something out. Like I said...I am conservative but I am not a "Gods and Guns" type conservative. What do you think? moreOpen Question: men and women are equal, in today's world women want to be more than men and forgotten the word equal?
I am male in late 20 and i am all for women rights and don't take me wrong i have a younger sister whom i dearly love and would never ever tolerate anything wrong towards her............BUT In today's world (I am talking primarily of western civilization cause that's were i live) we have forgotten the word "EQUAL" and now women want more rights than men,,,,,,,,,,think about it 1) girls want men to ask them out 2) pay for the dinner or movie or what ever 3) its her choice if she wants to have sex today or not (tired, headache blah blah blah) and in case a guy refuses due to genuine reason (tired or) she starts to think the either he is gay or he is having an affair.........and if he last a minute less than what she had expected in the bed then she starts to point out that ad on radio about premature e*jaculation 4) want their man to work and earn money, help them with kids, help them with cooking and cleaning and then still want them to be a MAN (one who is a robot and not a human with feelings, can't be sad can't cry). 5) its her choice to have kids or not and a man does not have a say either way, if a woman says she does not want kids then its no and if she wants kids and man does not then they will try every trick in the book to get pregnant (not to mention the child support issue here) 6) She gets the half of everything + kids + house + child support and then she has a new boyfriend and tries to do her best in preventing her ex seeing his own kids. 7) you ever noticed a woman can go and slap and man and that's nothing but on the other hand if a man slap's a woman then its a police case of assault. 8) if a guy is home all the time then she needs air to breath and if he is at work all the time then she needs to be taken care of. 9) have you seen woman dating a man who happens to be a nice person in all the way but earns less than her (i haven't) and when man earns more than her (normally the case) then she thinks she has right for her partners money cause he is the "MAN" and they are supposed to provide. 10) keep on falling for all the bad guys (saying cause the nature has put that in their process of natural selection) and then want a good guy who treats them well............. Now i can go on and on and on but i guess you got my point, all these things have not happened to be but i have seen these things happening in our society.........i don't say here that men are all good but not all are bad and but i think these are not a positive development in the culture for our future What do you think people, please share your views, would be great if you write you age and nationality too moreResolved Question: Women, would you refuse a job because the company pays men more than women?
Is that even reasonable? It sounds like almost every field pays men more than women for the same job. THis is shocking to me because I'm pretty young and never knew this, I thought we had equal rights? moreOpen Question: Give your thoughts on this situation (A MANS right to choose)?
A man and woman have been together for 6 years, they both work, are entitled to paid maternity leave and are 'ready' for a child. The woman gets pregnant and decides that she doesn't want a baby, after telling the man for years that she did. They split up. Road 1) The man says he will adopt the child when it's born and will bring it up himself (and pay any medical bills throughout her pregnancy). The woman flatly refuses and books and abortion. Is this a fair and equal decision? Road 2) The man says he will adopt the child when it's born and will bring it up himself (and pay any medical bills throughout her pregnancy). The woman flatly refuses and cuts contact with him and signs the adoption papers, telling them she doesn't know who the father is. is this fair? I'm asking this because of a friend of mine in a similar situation. At what point does a man get the right to choose about the life (or lack of) of his future child? Yes, it is a womans body, but that unborn child, foetus, collection of cells whatever you want to call it, was created by him as well as her, so why doesn't he get a choice? Why is it that, even when the father WANTS to be a Father he has no say in the matter? What if he doesn't want the child? Is it fair that he is forced to pay for a child he didn't want? If a woman refuses any other options stating something like 'i'll do it alone' why should he be forced to pay?So you think it was right for this woman, to not only LIE about what she wants for 6 years but also to allow him NO CHANCE to care for the child he wanted but she didn't. The only person playing is the woman, she's playing games with the poor lads head and heart, it's sick! She chose the second option. I'm currently trying to help, both emotionally and with the adoption side, but she wont budge, he's having to wait 3 months until childs born for a DNA. She's even refused to give scans to him. They split up because she doesn't want the baby. this is the argument they had infront of me (which is why i'm so involved in it) her: ' I don't want this baby, you want one go find someone else. now either sit down and shut up or leave' him: ' i just want to understand, for 6 years you've said you wanted one and we're ready' her: 'well i don't now and haven't for years'Thats what i'm trying to say know it all, why should women be the only ones with rights when it comes to the 'potential' life of an unborn child? Both of them are what she threatened to do, when i read the first (she txted him that btw) i wanted to slap her, when her friend came with the second message i had to remind myself she was pregnant, and that my friend needed me. He's a big man, 29, and since it started he's been either crying like a child watching lion king or pulling his hair out, he's lost a lot of weight as well. moreResolved Question: where the masacres of jews in arab lands prior to 1920 due to zionism?
In fact, in 17th-20th centuries, with exception of the Holocaust, Jews were persecuted far more in Muslim lands than in Europe. Things in Europe changed, in Muslim lands they stayed the same. In the 19th century there were many instances of forced conversions and massacres, usually inspired by the Shi'a clergy. A representative of the Alliance Israélite Universelle, a Jewish humanitarian and educational organization, wrote from Tehran in 1894: "every time that a priest wishes to emerge from obscurity and win a reputation for piety, he preaches war against the Jews". In 1830, the Jews of Tabriz were massacred; the same year saw a forcible conversion of the Jews of Shiraz. In 1839, many Jews were massacred in Mashhad and survivors were forcibly converted. The Jews of Tabriz and Shiraz continued to practice Judaism in secret despite a fear of further persecutions. Jews of Barforush were forcibly converted in 1866; when they were allowed to revert to Judaism thanks to an intervention by the French and British ambassadors, a mob killed 18 Jews of Barforush, burning two of them alive In 1910, the Jews of Shiraz were accused of ritually murdering a Muslim girl. Muslim dwellers of the city plundered the whole Jewish quarter. Twelve Jews, who tried to defend their property, were killed. Driven by persecutions, thousands of Persian Jews emigrated to Palestine in the late 19th early 20th century. There they met Jews fleeing from similar persecution in Eastern Europe Here is a description of a disgusting ritual done to Persian Jews (recorded by a 19th century European traveler): "At every public festival — even at the royal salaam [salute], before the Kings face — the Jews are collected, and a number of them are flung into the hauz or tank, that King and mob may be amused by seeing them crawl out half-drowned and covered with mud. The same kindly ceremony is witnessed whenever a provincial governor holds high festival: there are fireworks and Jews." 1790. Pogrom in Tetouan, Morocco. All Jews stripped naked, many women raped, most homes ransacked 1808. Mulay Suleiman orders Jews of Tetuan, Rabat, Sale, and Mogador into mellahs 1815. Jews of Mogador, Morocco ordered to pay sudden jizya poll-tax. Those who pay punched on the forehead after turning over coins, those who refuse thrown in dungeon 1830. Three quarters of Jews of Shiraz, Persia are converted to Islam by force 1830. Jews are massacred in Tabriz, Persia 1834. Suleika affair. Jewish woman from Tangier, Morocco refuses to convert and marry a high-ranking official. She is executed in Fez 1839. Jews of Meshhad, Persia are massacred. Survivors are forced to convert to Islam 1840. The Damascus Blood Libel. Father Thomas, a Franciscan superior, disappears. The French consul accuses a group of rabbis and other Jews of ritual murder and extracts a "confession" by torture in which one of the victims dies. Others, including sixty children, are arrested and starved to convince their parents to confess. Pogroms follow throughout the Middle East. Sir Moses Montefiore, Adolphe Cremieux and Salomon Munk intervene on behalf of the Jews and the charges are dropped. Sultan Abdul Mejid issues a Firman against blood libels. He unconditionally releases nine survivors of the Damascus libel. Four had already died 1859. War starts between Morocco and Spain. Massacre and plunder of the Jewish community of Tetuan. About 400 killed, the rest flee 1863. British Jewish philanthropist Sir Moses Montefiore visits Sultan Muhammad IV and requests equal rights for Jews. Sultan at first agrees, but after Montefiore's departure nullifies any change in status quo 1866. Jews of Barforush, Persia are forcibly converted, then allowed to revert to Judaism, then mob kills 18 Jews, burning two of them alive 1884-88. 307 Jews murdered over four years by Muslims in Morocco, yet no Muslims put on trial 1889. After anti-Jewish disturbances in Shiraz and Isfahan, Persia, new restrictions of food, dress, habits, inheritance, trade, etc. are put on Jews there 1903. 40 Jews killed by Muslims during riots in Taza, Morocco. More killed in Settat 1907. In Casablanca, Morocco 30 Jews killed, 200 women, girls and boys abducted, raped, then ransomed etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.... moreResolved Question: Why do women expect men to be gentlemen?
Women expect men to be gentlemen. I disagree with this statement. I don't believe that men have to be gentlemen to women. Agreeing to be a gentlemen means agreeing that men are inferior to women. Examples: You open the door she walks through. You get out of the car in the rain, walk around, and open her door. What exactly justifies a women being treated like that in an era when women are claiming equality, demanding equal pay for equal work, demanding equal opportunities, ability to run for president, they have the right to vote. I don't understand why women should be treated as superior in any way, shape, or form. Women will say that it's part of tradition and how they were raised. Just because women were raised that way doesn't make it right. Some people were raised to burn crosses and join the Klu Klux Klan, it doesn't make it right. Why should men do anything for women that women aren't expected to do anything for men? Being a gentlemen meant something in an era when women couldn't vote, women couldn't work, women couldn't go to college, women couldn't finish high school, women had to raise the kids, women had to be home all the time. In those days being a gentlemen made sense. Back in the days when women had to do all the drudge work and the man came home after a long day and it was a whole different story back then. But in todays day and age, women work, women have equal opportunities, more women to go college than men now. So it's like, "why do we owe you?" In the 21st century, women do not deserve this kind of treatment and I think men who do it are fools. I want women to tell me why they deserve this special treatment. If you say "child bearing," ... well, I'll tell you what, when you have my children, get back to me. Why don't women open the door for the man? If you say "because he's the man," what exactly does that mean? It's amazing of how women love to complain about sexism and yet they would make a statement like that. So what if he's the man. That's just preposterous. moreResolved Question: Why do women expect men to be a gentlemen?

Women are protected during pregnancy. That is how it should be. This rule of "segregation" is to protect your child. Its not about the woman. I am all about equal rights and wish I got paid what my male co-workers get paid. But complaining about them protecting your pregnancy your baby. Suing for this is ridiculous! Do you agree? WASHINGTON (UPI) -- The U.S. Justice Department and the Bryan County, Okla., Sheriff's Department reached a settlement in a pregnancy discrimination lawsuit, the department said. The complaint alleged the sheriff engaged in employment discrimination against women by requiring the reassignment of female officers working in the jail to administrative duties when they were pregnant, violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the U.S. Justice Department said Wednesday in a news release. Title VII prohibits discrimination in employment on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion or sex, including pregnancy. The consent decree, which still needs court approval, bars the sheriff from discriminating against any employee or applicant of the Bryan County Sheriff's Office, including the jail, on the basis of sex and pregnancy, the Justice Department said. The consent decree also requires the sheriff to implement a policy prohibiting employment discrimination on the basis of pregnancy and to provide mandatory training on the policy. To wit: Feminism is the idea that women deserve equal rights, equal pay, equal opportunities and the right not to be harassed on the basis of her gender (essentially, in a nutshell) Misandry is the hatred of men: The idea that by virtue of "maleness" men, all men, and only men are responsible for the majority of problems here on earth. That women are entitled to special rights that men somehow owe women something by virtue of their "maleness" It seems there are a lot of people on this section who confuse the term "feminism" with "misandry" It seems to me, that very few women are misandric; they're just want equal rights etc. How is that a bad thing? Then there are a lot of guys who think that every woman who is a feminist is out to get him. Isn't what he really means is a misandrist? And here's why the question: Feminism is a good thing. Misandry is a bad thing (just like misogyny is a bad thing) And it seems like misandry, real or perceived is giving feminism a bad rap. The term (feminism) has become loaded, and shouldn't we straighten out the semantics. To reiterate, all a feminist is someone who believes in equality for women. Isn't that a given today? Who, here doesn't believe in that? Misandry is simply hating men? And I think there are very few misandrists out there, and I would think they are the bane of the feminists existence. I mean, for what real feminism is, everyone I respect is a feminist. My girlfirend is a feminist. My boss is a feminist. I am a feminist (and proud to be one), Our president is a feminist. Our secretary of state is a feminist etc, I could spend all day on this. I just think we need to get our terms straight and use the term "feminist" correctly and with pride and respect, because it is a good thing. What do you think?Good answer, Dark eyes. And I also agree with Molly that we need to be sticklers about using our terms correctly for this very reason.Really good point, Rio.Tanya's point is also good. Wouldn't it be great if we could just all call ourselves equalists without any politically loaded connotations. Believe it or not, it's not too far beyond our reach. It's been a good discussion, but now I have to go off to work..... Bleah! moreResolved Question: Always a man's fault for failed marriages?
Why are men more at fault for a failed marriage? If a man gets laid off and not able to find work in years his wife will leave him for another man and tell him that she found better. (the bible says the poor will always be among us die to the world being fallen and greedy. And if everyone could get a job then the unemployment rate in the US should be like 1 percent or like .5 but it is not. People dont realize that. Where I live people are getting laid off left and right like hot cakes. You would be lucky if you lasted for like 3 years in one place.) If a man tell his wife we cant afford this and lets save up for this item, a woman will claim abuse and turn it on a guy and say that he never let her have anything. A guy can have 2 jobs to put food on the table and work 12 plus hours a day, a wife would leave him and say he was never at home but 2 jobs does equal busy and he does have to sleep.... 2 out of 3 women file for divorce 66 percent about 1 out of 2 men file for divorce 50 percent So who is really at fault here? Do some people actually for get vows like fore rich or poor etc.... What do you think? 10 points for best answer Another thing If a guy worked at a fast food place all his life and was not able to get a better paying job, why do some women see the guy as a loser? I never got that. I guess people feel entitled in life to certain things.....It can take years if no one hires you........ Duh lolI know people who have been unemployed for years. No one is giving them a jobI cant think positive about relationships. Every one I had sucked. It was like I was doing it all and getting nothing and get cheated on and cursed outI will possibly be homeless broke and alone. True story moreResolved Question: This Message is to You O Concealed Jewel, O Protected Rose !?
It is to you, the Cultivator of Generations, Producer or Great Men. I will point out in it some of what Islam requires of the individual and the society concerning the rights of women ..... 1. Have you seen the Jewel? Why is it that the people love it while it is simply a piece of stone? It is because it is not so easy to see it, nor can you touch it except by paying an exorbitant price. Similar is the case of the woman – it is forbidden for a man to see her or touch her, in order that he does not dishonor her. She is like an untouched (pure) jewel, which is affected by the least touch. 2. Have you seen how a rose wilts, withers, and loses it luster and beauty if it is touched too much. Likewise, the woman is not allowed to be touched except by one in a lawful relationship of marriage. And whoever attempts to touch her – unlawfully – will earn a severe punishment or death. 3. Do you know the punishment for one who violates the marriage trust and cheats on his wife? The penalty is death, since he has fallen short in regards to the jewel which is with him, in addition to transgressing the rights of others. 4. Have you seen a jewel searching for a person (to possess it)? The same is the case of the women, like a precious jewel, she is the one who is sought out, not the seeker. It is incumbent upon the man to seek her hand. And if she agrees to marry him, then he will present to her a marriage dowry and something from his wealth. 5. Consider the Ruler or Head of State – if every one were able to speak to him directly and sit in his presence, he wouldn't be held in awe, nor possess the same prestige and status amongst the people that he has. Similarly, the woman is like a noble Queen. It is not the right of every person to speak to her directly or sit in her presence; this is something allowed to the select few. 6. The Supreme Being has created the male strong of body in order that he may go out and earn his livelihood, even in difficult circumstances. This is so that he may serve the women and children of his family. As for the woman, she has been created gentle, soft and sensitive, so that she may cultivate the future generations. The man goes out and works with the natural elements, while the woman deals with the human being (raising the children). 7. What do you think would happen if a lion and gazelle were placed together in one place? Is it possible for them to co-exist? Obviously not! Likewise, it is of necessity that the man be separated from the woman, in the interest of the woman. She is beautiful, attractive and weak. Hence, the strong will overcome her and devour her and violate her chastity – even if she were not willing. 8. The woman who performs work equal to the work of a man is entitled to – and is given – the same salary as the man. 9. The woman is allowed to work in any occupation, which she is capable of, as long as it is in consonance with the nature of her delicate physique. 10. The woman – like man - is addressed in the divine revelation with responsibilities for which she - like man - is equally rewarded. 11. The woman is excused from certain religious ceremonies and obligations during her post-child birth and menstrual periods, since these conditions are a cause of weakness and hence, she is in need of rest and relaxation. 12. If a woman dies while giving birth to a child, she is rewarded with the highest station in Paradise. 13. The person who is killed while defending his mother, wife, daughter or sister will be rewarded with the highest station in Paradise. 14. It is permissible for a woman to seek a separation from her husband if he has failed to fulfill her marital rights. 15. Is there anything more valuable to the human being than his life? Indeed, the honor and dignity of women is more valuable, precious and important to the Muslim than his own life. 16. It is permissible for the woman to remarry – whomever she desires – if he is divorced from her husband or widowed. 17. If a woman possesses wealth, she is free to use it in any lawful way, without permission of anyone [father, husband or others]. 18. The woman has the right to the inheritance of her relative – at the time of his death – even if he does not desire that she receive it. 19. It is obligatory upon the man to spend his wealth for the maintenance – housing, food, etc. – of those under his care including his mother, wife or daughter, even if he doesn't desire to do so. 20. The mother has been given preference over the father – three times over – concerning their right to kindness and benevolence from their children. 22. Whoever truly desires paradise – Know that paradise lies at the feet of the mother, for the one who pleases her. 23. Whoever has daughters and treats them well – they will be a cause of him being screened from the hell-fire. 23. If a man kills a woman intentionally, he no longer deserves to live and will be killed, even if the victimwas his wife. 24. The Messenger of Allah – Blessings of Allah and Peace be Upon him – advised concerning the woman: Treat the women well. He also said: The best of you are those who are the best in the treatment of their wives. He also said: No one honors the woman except an honorable man. And no one humiliates her or holds her in contempt except one who is evil, vile, wicked and depraved. assalam wa alykum moreResolved Question: true equality with male abortions?
We live in a society where men and women are equal..where if i say a statement 'all women should be allowed to wear makeup' and i change women to man or man to women the statement should still be true. Now imagine this, a world where the right to decide whether a child is aborted or not before it is born is only with the father of that child, if the mother doesn't want it, and the father wants its, too bad for her. this world, to me, sounds horrible Now using the logic we established before, if i change man to woman, your opinion of my hypothetical world should still be the same. Does anyone think that the father should have the right to lose all legal obligations and rights to a child he doesn't want, as long as its before a certain time before the birth. The father will legally not be the childs father, it would impose all thing that would have happen if the child had be aborted, that cant see the child, pay for anything to do with the child, can talk to the child. It would a almost as hard a choice for him as it would be for the mother, think about it.....knowing your kids out there, but never ever seeing them grow up? so in short.....anyone agree male abortion?the women can still have the baby...theres just no father moreResolved Question: David Cameron and HIS expenses?
David Cameron is an ahole in my opinion (im a lib dem) anyway he happens to have a multi-million pound estate. i have nothing against this after all his family worked hard for it. What i am annoyed at is that he claimed for his second home £19,626. Why is this when b**chs like anne widdecombe claim nothing (a women who actually voted against equal rights for LGBT). He has a fortune so why does he claim public money for his second home. he says he is a good guy and has repaid other mysterious claims he made but this is the worst. why couldnt he pay his mortgage himself when he is so rich. he is a back-stabbing hypocrite stabbing the public in the back because we are the ones paying for it. well not me i dont pay taxes but the rest of you are being stabbed. moreResolved Question: Did you know?!......?

Funny to me, that people say that a man is also responsible for bringing life into the world...Ha. If men were equal to women in reproducing, then why is the woman the only one who can make the choice to abort a baby? And don't tell me it's HER body, because it's not, the baby is it's own body within her body. If a woman chooses to have a baby then a man has to pay child support to her, so tell me, why is her body more valuable than his life? Ask any man who has a low wage job trying to support a wife and kids and pay child support to an ex...when after conception do the men get to change their minds? I'm not saying I believe in abortion, I actually don't, but if abortion is allowed for women, then men should have some sort of rights too. What do you think? What right should the man have? The power to sue the women for murdering his baby (in the case of aborted babies from planned pregnancies) .... or the power to terminate his rights before the child is born? Or maybe the power to stop the woman from aborting? If you tell me the man has no rights and should have none, then you are telling me that women alone are the sole givers of life and should therefore be worshiped as Gods. moreResolved Question: Make a move to USA for a better life?
At this time, I would need to bore you with a question about value of life and I do need real information from u all friends about USA because only u are the trustable source to search true information. Living in my country, I’ve just always felt under pressure and can’t find myself. 1-Women here are inferior to men. 2-People are jealous, closed mind, and discrimination, especially on women—women to women, men criticize women, but this never happen on men. Example, 2 friends—male and female, they are just friends no more than this-- walk together home from school. The girl will be negatively stereotyped as an easy, odd, not casual and not good to look by the eyes of neighbors. Why people here love to prejudge other people’s way of doing? Why people here love to act as they are the ones having duty to judge someone is good or bad? Why do they judge by just a part of seeing rather than use their brain to think deeply? They love to be involved in negative judgment, but keep mouse silence for advantage of someone. That’s why, women here are passive. Women here are always afraid of being negatively prejudged by neighbors for what she does. So women here do things that neighbor would value rather than do by her personality. It seems women here are just like artists who need to perform well for the eyes of audiences. She is not her. 3-The older have power on the younger. Example, in class, students respect their teacher out of duty. They respect their teacher as second parents. When teacher says something is right or wrong, they obey and follow. Students are afraid to ask or ask many questions unless the teacher asks students to ask questions. Another example about between relatives. A nice or nephew can’t protest his or her aunt or uncle—by tradition—in an equivalent manner. The younger complain only in a lower manner, manner of respecting. If the nice or nephew complain by equivalent manner, it means that the child is unrespectful to the older= cruel= uneducated by parents= too low social class family race. So in real situation here, sometimes, youngers are pressured to get fault because the older can not loose face by recognizing their—older—fault. It is hard for younger to complain with the older because we have a system of respectful to the older. But I think it is unreasonable and communist. I must have equal right to complain with the older. 4-The law here is untrustable. For example about the beauty shop. After a period of treatment to beauty skin of customers, the result becomes worse. In this situation the customer becomes a victim with no response from the shop and the law can’t go to. When someone have a cool and go to by medicine, the medicine seller doen’t guide how many days the patient should need to have medicine but instead the seller asks the patient, “How many day u want to have medicine?” In hospital, doctors don’t care about their schedule to care patients but instead the doctors expect the patients’ relatives to remember what are the treatment that the patient have been provided. 5-Women here are well protected in order not to make mistakes. The statement sounds like women are so luck here but if u look deeply at it, u will see that it makes women become passive, are limited and closed her brain and freedom from all of her action in the society. Why? Why by tradition women are afraid of having mistakes while men can experience freely in the society? Is there any one can walk without passing many fall down? If women are kept to stay in one place because of afraid of making mistakes, can she develop herself? Women here are regarded as white paper while men are regarded as gold. After spoiling, goal remain goal but the white paper can’t be cured. Unreasonable statement. Why people follow unreasonable thing? Why people dare not to complain and make a change to make a better statement? These are just some small part of dark life in here, there are still manyyyyyyyy more. Living here makes me feel uncomfortable and meaningless. Everything seems up side down. I have heard some about USA and I want to better my life there, but I am still not sure whether what I have heard about USA is true or just fake. By asking many people who are studying and living in USA, they say 90% in USA is plus. The US government provides value to life of all people. They also say situations in USA is totally opposite to here. No class system, no discrimination, equal right between men and women, women are not passive as women here because women in USA can do as what men can. They also say, “if u work hard, your life here is much more wonderful to compare to here.” I value hard working because only work hard can pay for good futur, but I still doubt about the meaning of hard working in USA. Does it means work till the person’s energy fall down to zero? The expenses in USA is very high, so the meaning should be like this? If so, I don’t people can have happiness. But perh moreResolved Question: Is this the truth or what?
By Ralph Peters Salaam aleikum, dudes! I thought I knew a little bit about the Middle East. Boy, was I wrong. Last week, President Obama set me straight. Here’s what our president taught me during his Middle-Eastern pilgrimage: There is no more terrorism. Wow, cool! No more security checks at airports, right? Its unclear which side won, but it’s all over. Obama didn’t mention terrorism a single time in his star-turn speech in Cairo. Only a few “violent extremists” (our own troops?) remain at large. America tortured. I thought there was still a debate about that, but I guess not. And no regime in the Middle East tortures anybody, ever. Our bad. Churches and synagogues are about to open in Saudi Arabia. Since “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance” and there are “over 1,200 mosques within our borders,” I can’t wait for the first Baptist hymn-sing in Riyadh. Sign me up! Behind closed doors with Saudi King Abdullah, our president must’ve mentioned the many hundreds of churches and synagogues that thrived on the Arabian Peninsula during the Prophet’s lifetime. Muslims zealots destroyed them. Time to get the bin Laden family’s construction firm on the job re-building! And stoning converts who leave Islam to death is a no-no, right? Women can dress any way they want in Saudi Arabia. Just my analysis, based on Obama’s insistence that Islam recognizes “the dignity of all human beings” and that Muslim women must be free to make their own decisions about what to wear. Surely, fashion choices extend to Mecca and Medina, not just Detroit and Paris? “Islam has always been a part of America’s story.” Guess the Founding Fathers missed that one. But I’m assured that George Washington turned to his mullah in the dark days at Valley Forge, that Daniel Boone read the Koran around the campfire, and that al Qaeda stood by us at the Alamo. Yeah, there was that misunderstanding with the Muslim Barbary Pirates, when they killed, kidnapped and enslaved American citizens for years - but who’s perfect? There are “nearly seven million American Muslims.” Who knew? We all thought there were three or four million, max. Is this a preview of the predetermined results of our upcoming census? [Note to editor: Confirm numbers with ACORN.] “It was not violence that won full and equal rights” for black Americans. So much for the Civil War and my ancestor, who volunteered to wear Union blue and paid for it with his life. I thought a half-million Americans died fighting to end slavery. Silly me. Still, it was brave of our president to highlight slavery’s “lash of the whip” in his speech, since his own ancestors, as Muslims along Africa’s Swahili Coast, would have been complicit - if not actively engaged - in enslaving their fellow black Africans for Arab masters. As a self-proclaimed “student of history,” Obama surely knows that. Holocaust, schmolocaust. Aren’t those pesky Jews ever going to go away? Yes, denying the Holocaust is “hateful.” But let’s get a grip. Palestinians “endure . . . daily humiliations.” Their lot’s “intolerable.” Israel “devastates Palestinian families.” No wonder our president shunned wicked Israel during his trip - sending a clear, if unspoken, message that Jews are now fair game. “America’s strong bonds with Israel are . . . unbreakable.” Yup. And they’re issued by Chrysler. Hamas is a legitimate, recognized voice of the Palestinians. Rocket attacks against civilians, suicide bombings and kidnappings really work. Iran can have nukes. Our president’s acceptance of “peaceful nuclear power” for Tehran was coded language for “no pre-emptive military action.” Jordan doesn’t matter. So much for one Arab country’s attempts at human decency. If you want attention from our president, you’ve got to be a desert gangbanger. My wife wondered why Obama didn’t make his speech in Indonesia, the world’s most-populous Muslim state, where he would’ve been welcomed proudly as a home-boy. Obama just reinforced the stereotype that Muslim equals Arab. Democracy isn’t for everybody. We’re done peddling that particular drug. Of course, our president didn’t mention al Qaeda’s catastrophic defeat in Iraq, where millions of Sunni Arabs rejected the terror organization. Iraq was Bush’s war, so it’s all bad. And forget junk like modern medicine, telecommunications or even the internal combustion engine. Islam’s been the source of real progress. Like “calligraphy.” Medieval Islam’s ballyhooed contributions actually were due to Greek-speaking Christians (including slaves) employed as court officials, to Armenian architects and Jewish physicians. But, yeah, Arabs had really good penmanship. Our president’s breakthrough message to the Muslim world was that America overthrew democratic regimes, slavery was our history’s central feature, and we invaded people on a whim - but we’re sorry now. His crowd-pleasing speech sanitized and romanticized Islam, letting the disgruntled popu moreResolved Question: do cambodian american immigrant satify their new life in new country, usa?
Do cambodian american immigrant satify their new life in new country, usa? We, Cambodian people have a dream from our home before moving to usa is to have a better life. Our meaning of BETTER LIFE is to have FREEDOM ( especially women) that we can do what we want to do without afraid of people around say we should do this or do that following ONE SAMPLE WAY OF DOING. the law in NY. It is legal for a woman to be topless anywhere in public that a man is. In a park, on the sidewalk. On a beach, obviously. The ruling was specifically about being gender-neutral. Here's where it gets interesting. Say a woman goes topless in a privately owned water park. Men are obviously allowed to go shirtless/ "topless". Even though it's a privately owned park, it's open to the public,by payed admission. (That's why it exists.) So it's a public venue. My brother who works there says they can set their own rules. (They have a lot of strict rules on how to behave.) But if being privately owned means setting your own rules....how can that trump legally established rights? Could they set up "separate but equal" drinking fountains? Yes, an outrageous example, but it brings it to the question of public rights on private property.HelloIamChuck; Thanks, but you didn't directly address the question of which public rights are abridged by being on private property. What happened to being happy to be a woman and just fighting for equality? Feminism started as a great thing. Let all women vote, get a job, promotions, get equal pay, etc... But now they're nothing but a one sided politically biased group of women who seem to be angry and bitter about being women or humans for that matter... Feminists hated being under the rule of stupid, egotistical, politically overpowering men to now be ruled by equally(because equality counts) stupid, egotistical, politically overpowering women. Think of the things that are said about right wing women verses left wing women... Sarah Palin verses Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush verses Michelle Obama, even Elisabeth Hasselbeck verses Barbara Walters on The View, etc... I think groups that resemble "Feminists for Life" are a step back to reality. Strong woman that are able to have and enact an opinion, even if it's contrary to what their 'leaders' almost demand they be for. It's nice to see that some aren't afraid to step outside the box. My brother's girlfriend cracked me up because she asked my grandmother and I about what we thought about Sotomayor. We both basically said that we believed she was picked for her ethnicity and possibly gender but she wouldn't be aweful because she has a good education and job history. My brother's gf replied with "But aren't you happy that there will be another woman in the supreme court?". My grandmother and I basically looked at each other like "wtf is that suppose to mean?" because it doesn't matter if the person is a woman or not. In 1919 women gained the right to run for Parliament, and Macphail was elected in 1921, the first federal election in which women had the vote. A courageous and dedicated champion of human rights, Macphail successfully fought for old-age pensions, prison reform, and farmers' co-operatives. In office she also came to see herself as representing women's issues and founded the Elizabeth Fry Society of Canada. She had strong views about war, urging total disarmament for Canada. In 1929, she became the first Canadian woman to be sent as a delegate to the League of Nations in Geneva, where she was an active member of the World Disarmament Committee. It took political stamina and dogged persistence to see her ideas through, and Macphail credited both her parents for her character strengths. As she once said, "I owed it to my father that I was elected to Parliament in the first place, but I owed it to my mother that I stuck it out once I got there." Agnes Macphail died in 1954. One of her final political achievements occurred in the Ontario legislature in 1951, when she championed legislation that mandated equal pay for equal work for Ontario women. Teachers and students interested in Macphail's achievements may wish to see the National Film Board production Canada's First Woman MP, or the longer version entitled The Lady from Grey Country. The films use news clips, archival still images and old family photographs to create a compelling story of Agnes Macphail's life, while they also illuminate the period of Canadian history in which she played an active and decisive role. moreResolved Question: abortion rights and the father's rights?
. Why should a man be forced to pay child support on a kid he doesn't want because the woman decides to keep the kid but a man can't stop her from aborting the baby if he wants it and she doesn't. This is not about me! I am just curious- I hear all the time about the woman's right to chose because it's her body but the man doesn't get to chose whether he wants the responsibility or not. How is that fair and equal? moreResolved Question: Why don't people realize men's rights to be fathers will be tied to abortion eventually?
Here is the thing with progressives, they will use any argument they can to get there way. By some feminist's and traditionalist's arguing if "you can play you can pay" due to the equal protection clause in the constitution if that argument was every successfully used in court it would overturn Roe vs Wade. Because one of the Pinnacle arguments in RvW was "A woman should not be punished for having sex with an unwanted child" hence "my body my choice". Why don't people realize this is all interconnected? So by the man not wanting a child the mother is robbed of a choice? As long as he isn't threatening violence or is using harrasment and intimidation she still has a choice. So to protect some women that would only carry the pregnancy to term if the father had to provide for her and the offspring you justify denying the man his right to a choice? Again violates the equal protection clause which eventually can be used to outlaw abortion(with the exception of life threatening situations it would take a massive cultural shift to outlaw that).I am not saying anyone is at fault. I am saying that the current position of many to give the "father" less say but equal burden is directly conflicted with one of the legal arguements to legalize abortion. Because forcing the mother to carry a pregnancy to term against her wish's wrongfuly punish's her for having sex. Forcing a man to provide for someone else's choice against his wish's punish's him for having sex. Why can't some feminist's see the folley in denying the equitable rights of men when it could eventually cause the elimination of a particular right women have? For a traditionalist it is a double victory. Outlawing abortion and writing in stone gender roles, obligations and morality. I just find the cluelessness among some women's rights activist's amusing because from a historical outlook the pendellum will eventually swing the other way. moreResolved Question: How good is this essay? Opinions would be nice!?
I had to write an essay on the most influential thing or person we studied this year in American history and I chose Susan B. Anthony. Its due tomorrow and I really need some kind of feedback. So if you could just read over it and give me any advice on it that'd be so helpful! Susan B. Anthony Women have tons of rights in the United States right? Women didn’t always have that many rights in America. Back before the 1900’s, women only had the right to marry and give birth to children. Many women worked hard to get the same rights as men. There was one significant woman who worked extremely hard…Susan B. Anthony. She was truly the most influential person we studied in American history this year. Would women have the same rights if it weren’t for her? Anthony spoke at campaigned for women’s property rights in New York, spoke at meetings and collected signatures for petitions. Susan B. Anthony attended her first ever women’s rights convention in Syracuse. Anthony was introduced to Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Together, they founded the American Equal Rights Association. They began working on The Revolution(a newspaper) in Rochester, NY. Their logo was ‘Men their rights, and nothing more. Women their rights, and nothing less’. In 1869, Anthony and Stanton founded the National Women’s Suffrage Association(NWSA). It was an organization dedicated to gaining women’s suffrage. In the early years of NWSA Anthony tried to unite women into the labor movement. Anthony campaigned for women’s suffrage on speaking tours in the west. On November 18, 1872, Anthony was arrested for illegally voting in the 1872 Presidential Election. Anthony was tried and convicted 7 months later. She was fined but refused to pay the bail. The trial gave Anthony the opportunity to get her voice heard to a wider audience than ever before. There were two women’s suffrage organizations, NWSA and American Women Suffrage Association(AWSA)merged together forming the NAWSA. Anthony campaigned in the west to make sure that territories that gave women the right to vote, hadn’t blocked them from the union. Susan B. Anthony died 14 years, 5 months and 5 days before the 19th amendment passed. The 19th amendment gave women the right to vote. Its also known as the Susan B. Anthony Amendment. To remember Anthony, she is now on our $1 coin. Could women really have the same rights if it weren’t for Susan B. Anthony? As you can see, Anthony fought hard for the rights of American women. Although she didn’t live to see the results, she had a huge impact on it. Some people would say that she wasn’t the most influential person we studied in American history. Without her, women probably wouldn’t have the same rights they have today. Susan B. Anthony was truly the most influential person we studied this year in American history. Thanks! moreVoting Question: What was a major impact of the development of computers in the 1950s?

...By "equal outcome false equality" I mean any laws or measures that take away man's natural strengths and advantages and gives women automatic "equal outcome" with men. Examples would be things like military PT tests where women have much easier physical requirements... And the shift in firefighting tests from a graded test to a "pass/fail" type so that more women could just complete the test. It doesn't matter if it takes them 5 times longer than men & as long as they drag themselves over the finish line, they "pass." This is a great read about female firefighters: http://www.laweekly.com/2008-01-24/news/the-gender-boondoggle/ excerpt: "Then came a notorious video dubbed the "Female Follies" by the media. In it, a handful of women, including a perfume saleswoman from Macy's and an 18-year-old babysitter, were seen awkwardly struggling to climb over a 5-foot wall. The video was reportedly leaked to the media by a furious female captain and resulted in intense criticism of the male instructors who made it. But almost nobody — including the media — asked whether the women could actually perform the drills. The Weekly has learned that the 25 women who were in training at the time of the "Female Follies" were given special pay for months by the city — unlike the men in that same class — to undergo extra preparation before facing the academy." ...And the mother of all false equality laws is the one that takes the "free pass" that nature gave men with regards to pregnancy and forces men into indentured servitude. Men and women deserve equal opportunity and equal rights within the laws. Why must we take away all of men's natural rights and abilities to pretend men and women are "equal" at every single thing in life? moreResolved Question: When it comes to abortion, why is it that the mother has more rights than the father?
Don't get me with that, "well she is caring the baby" gig. What about equal rights?? Are you now contradicting what you stand for?? The woman can get an abortion. Whether the man agrees or disagrees, he has no say. The man can be made to pay child support. Even though he has no right whatsoever in saying the baby should be aborted. Is this wrong?? I believe it is. moreVoting Question: Is compensating for lack of equality acceptable for some people?
In my last question, someone named "Maples" made a point. Its true that in general men get paid slightly more than women for doing the same job. Which is apparently ok since women live longer<-- Should we buy that or is it just another excuse to ignore inequality?? The way i see it, every issue of the oppression of men seems to be answered with "Yeah but you get paid more"<---Huh?? Thats just one thing. They get full rights on our kids "Yeah but you get paid more". They get to discriminate LEGALLY "Yeah but you get paid more". We get given harsher punishments "Yeah but you get paid more". We get called every name under the sun for being born male "Yeah but you get paid more" Is this acceptable or should it be "Equal rights or nothing"@ahlee- Did you just imply that men are dumber than women solely based on gender?? Affirmative action is contraversial because certain dumb people i.e women, think that by changing the term "Sexual Discrimination" to "Affirmative action" would also change its meaning. Are you as dumb as you claim men to be, or do you just wish men were?? The irony of a woman saying that women are smarter when they try and apply logic to the combining of the words "Positive" and "Discrimination" is extremely amusing lol@Babbit- We have MRAs and UKMM. And we're finally getting somewhere. In fact the female insurance industry is already being forced to make changes. I'm a member of UKMM :)I guess the reasonable thing to do would be to agree with you on how men can call women every name under the sun too.....But i'm not going to coz it simply isn't true lol. We don't call you rapists, baby murderers or dumbass twats just because of your gender@Yarr- lol Are you suggesting that the wage gap between men and women significantly differs the quality of life?? lol We're talkin about a few more pennies per hour. Wow!! Your choice of words about kids kinda helped me in my agenda lol. You don't want full right?? Well WE do, so kindly give your rights to me then please. How do you discriminate legally?? Are you serious...try googling "Affirmative action" then get back to me....How about your driving insurance agencies that only insure females?? We commit harsher crimes?? lol I'm talkin about the same crimes, genius. This really isn't that hard to understand. Women murderers get nothing but a few years, male murderers get life.....Are you trying to tell me that men murder more harshly?? lol good luck with that luv. More children are being abused by women than by men....Whats your answer to that??I guess the reasonable thing to do would be to agree with you on how men can call women every name under the sun too.....But i'm not going to coz it simply isn't true lol. We don't call you rapists, baby murderers or dumbass twats just because of your gender moreVoting Question: Should "pro choice" be gender netrual?
Why do soooo many feminists oppose men with the right to choose? I think it is a power issue. Lets face it, If women can choose not to be a parent, even after birth control failed, ( ie pills, or condom) Why can’t men choose not to be a father? This choice should only be allowed at the same time as women. That makes it fair, this also would give the mother to make a better decision. The man can sign his rights away, ( which I find funny, he doesn’t have rights anyway, only the right to pay) to the fetus. It is then the mothers choice to either bring the fetus to full term, or abort. What is the problem with this concept? You want equality, you just got it. Deal with it. One gender can choose to let go parental responsibility, well fine, so can the other. In reality this still isn’t equal, she can still abort, and the man can’t force her to have a baby, Which is fine, you can’t force anybody to do anything. Isn’t that the point of Pro choice? And don’t say, should have worn a condom, then all abortion should be outlawed, why? Well she should have eaten her pill. moreResolved Question: HISTORY HELP!!!!! PLEASE HELP?

I sure hope he does. This is 2009. We should be setting the standard on how other countries live and not providing comic relief by being the laughing stock of the industrialized world. Though I believe affirmative action is becoming obsolete, I think it would be fantastic if women and minorities received equal pay. Does anyone have any thoughts on that? moreVoting Question: How Can Anyone Support Barack Obama?
I believe that Obama is over spending. He is only putting the US in more debt then it can ever pay back. Now you might say well look the money is going to stimulate the economy and yes it is and it looks like it's working but HISTORY has shown that when the government has put money into the economy it has stimulated it for about 2 years but once the government has stopped pumping money into the economy it has just fallen back to where it was. And how does Obama plan on paying this back. The only way to pay it will be to raise taxes and I'm pretty sure no one wants that to happen so I don't understand why people like him so much. And as far as I'm concerned Obama isn't even black. He is half black and half white. So why does everyone refer to him as being black. Why does everyone say this is all Bush's fault? The only reason everyone hates Bush is because 90% of the media is liberal and liberals hate Bush. What did bush do that was bad? He protected the country for 7 years. And if you say that he just went to Iraq for oil then your totally wrong. He went there in search of WOMD. And now your gonna say there was no WOMD but how do you know this. Did you ever think sadam Hussein was a smart guy and went and hid them in Pakistan where the US is not allowed. And don't even get me started on torture. Another reason why I dont like Obama's policies is that Obama has no problem with killing women and kids in Pakistan in search of Al Qaeda but he has a problem with making a person a little uncomftorable so we can save a ton of lives. Not to mention that because of water boarding there wasn't an attack on L.A. And an attack on the Brooklyn bridge. This Quote is a principle of our founding fathers, "The proper role of government is to protect equal rights, not provide equal things." This means that everyone should have to work as hard as they possibly can to get what they want; it shouldn't be given to you by the government. If its just given to you then what incentive is there to work. This is the opposite of everything that Obama is doing. He wants to give everything to the poor even though they haven't done anything to deserve it. If they worked as hard as everyone else then they shouldn't have to be given things from the government because they should already have it.Wow! what a suprise someone already told me I dont like Obama because he is black. If you read the info then it clearly states that Obama is just as much a white perosn as he is black. And FYI I have nothing against black people I just dont like his policies. Im sure Obama is a great person outside of politics. So come up with another excuse for people not liking Obama. This is to Give Blood, What is the other side of the story? moreResolved Question: Do men and women have equal rights?

Because they are lies. In Sri Lanka it was reported that the LTTE was burning out large areas for illumination and cover when they are retreating from the deathly mine laden bunds/moats that they erect. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090510/ap_on_re_as/as_afghanistan http://www.sundaytimes.lk/090510/News/sundaytimesnews_18.html The main fallacy within this construct is that it blames entire countries for actions of individuals and groups. I believe that Janaka Perera is trying to make political hay and if you have followed his stream you would realize that he has a rigid, specific agenda that has nothing to do with Asian Security. Gothyaba Rajapaksa has a much better handle on how to retain good relationships with our neighbors whilst protecting security for Sri Lanka, the region and internationally. You will not be taking my programme and reworking it regardless of how many names you drop or are affiliated with. You want to lambaste the USA for attending to a conflict that it was duty bound to do? I will tell you to take a glimmer of hell without the USA. Those men and women from the USA did not know about ancient battles and that people were being moved to fight on events from thousands of years past and that there was a force that was trying to reawaken every ancient battle without considering all of our ancient Treatise of Peace. That is why those were reaffirmed last year. I tire of narrowness of men that have spent so much rime on one track that they cannot see past, you will never convince me that you words are a reflection of Champika. There was a challenge given to Afghanistan to grow food instead of opium so that those men would have a legitimate livelihood that did not require extremism to protect. That was supported from Araby to beyond Japan to the Americas – that was funded and there were opportunities created for it to take root and grow. There were major supports not only in segments of Taliban but also many other warring groups in the region. This support was inclusive to wide groups of peoples that believe it is more important to promote food crop growth than opiates as we are in a world food crisis. What or who blocked it? I am asking Rohitha not to get into an inbroglio for Janaka Perera or Ranil Wickremesinghe for it is well know that these purported enemies of today were bosom buddies day before last. As it is well known who holds their lead which in American parlance is known as the leash. One man's think tank is another man's asylum - that is why when I was asked to sit at RAND, I twice politely refused. That is why when I was invited to "observe" at Bildenberg - I sent Champy. It is also why when there are those that want to blame Nirval Cabraal for the Gold Key mess, I just point that the mess is billions more than Gold Key and that my peoples want their money back. This is why though I may not agree with everything that congress or political personalities may say - and as of late many have shown their derierres for supporting terrorist organizations that I support unstintingly equal rights and protections under the law, freedom of religion with the distinction between religion and cults, the right to free speech as long as it does not violate other basic rights, the rights of each child to grow up in a world with potential, the sovereign rights and obligations of sovereign nations to bring basic services such as electricity, education, roads, jobs, a revenue stream and tax base for continuation of progress to peoples in their lands. Now the LTTE is saying there is a hepatitis outbreak amongst infants in the terrorist held zone. I say release the peoples because we have staffs that are very capable of treating them. I also say that the intraveneous drug use that you have subjected these mothers to - you will dearly pay for. For years we have been been tracing heroin smuggling between India and Sri Lanka and the region; thus far the Nadesans, Pabraharakans, Balsinghams, Alprusalgams etc. of India have not been netted but we do know many of them live in Chennai and want free zones to transport drugs. Why is that not acceptable? Because all the arms running, the human trafficking, bank and credit card fraud, identity theft, usurping of lands and resources are not involved. If these terrorists were fighting for the freedom of peoples they wouldn't hold them as human shields. Many regions of the world from the Americas, to Africa, Middle East, Southern Asian Isles are confronting different levels of this but the LTTE had managed to gain an unbelievable stock of weapons, aircrafts, boats, submWhat is up with Gordon Weiss? The only thing consistent about him is his inconsistency for each time his allagations are disproven he blames it on misinformed and incompltete sources but he never bothers to do confirmations with all available sources prior to releasing a statement. http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/january2007/290107rockefellergoal.htm In a later conversation, Rockefeller asked Russo what he thought women's liberation was about. Russo's response that he thought it was about the right to work and receive equal pay as men, just as they had won the right to vote, caused Rockefeller to laughingly retort, "You're an idiot! Let me tell you what that was about, we the Rockefeller's funded that, we funded women's lib, we're the one's who got all of the newspapers and television - the Rockefeller Foundation." Rockefeller told Russo of two primary reasons why the elite bankrolled women's lib, one because before women's lib the bankers couldn't tax half the population and two because it allowed them to get children in school at an earlier age, enabling them to be indoctrinated into accepting the state as the primary family, breaking up the traditional family model. This revelation dovetails previous admissions on behalf of feminist pioneer Gloria Steinem (pictured) that the CIA bankrolled Ms. Magazine as part of the same agenda of breaking up traditional family models. moreResolved Question: Is the concept of sexual equality overrated?
What do you ladies and gentlemen think about sexual equality? Where along the line did each sex have to be equal? From an evolutionary perspective, one sex isn't necessarily any "better" than another. Obviously males are superior in physical strength, but females are superior in aesthetic features and can easily manipulate a man through exploitation of his sexual instinct. What I'm trying to say is that each sex has it's own function. It's not like there's one dominant sex and the other is just an extra. Both are required for the success of mankind. The function of a female is to seduce males (most capable of survival- aka bad boys or dominant men) using her aesthetic quality. Most of the time it works, doesn't it? We may act like we don't have interest in you, but our erect penises never lie. The function of a male is to wipe out his competition (in the ancient times, they'd literally fight to death) then become an alpha male, which attracts mass women. Then impregnate them all so that his "better" genes would keep the human race here today. Now I personally believe that women SHOULD be respected and political equality should be emphasized (rights, equal pay), but by no means do I think each sex should be completely equal. Ether way, a woman doesn't want to pay for a date or dinner and a man doesn't want to look weak by letting her pay. We often try to separate ourselves from our primitive ancestors. I believe that if we do, it'll be the doom of our kind. Evolution has been able to keep up thus far, but with the rapid changes in society, our "intellect" may overpower our natural ability to survive.Misha, thank you for the comment. Oh, and I'm actually dating the hottest chick on my campus, if you're willing to believe it.Modern facts: -Women prefer assholes over nerds. (dominance) -Men prefer voluptuous women over fat/skinny (curvy women are obviously healthier) -As I already stated, the physical differences between each sex can't be any more obvious. -Men reach their sexual prime at around 17 so that they'll be able to prepare for any competition that may get in the way of engaging with their mate. -Women reach their sexual prime at around 30 when their eggs begin to die off. A warning from mother to hurry up and reproduce Just take a closer look at society. I know we aren't in the stone age, but behind the illusion of complexity, the most primitively in-touch tend to be the most successful moreResolved Question: US HISTORY QUIZ, HELP!?
