Equal Oppurtunity Employment Questions asked
Resolved Question: What may I sue for if....? (Situation in Details)?
The main thing I want to know is if I can still take this to small claims court where the max to sue for is $5000. Someone touched my butt 4 times (swiped my buttcrack with a Micros Systems Mangement card) and made sexual comments to me twice. Then when I confronted this person about it, they pulled a knife on me. I didnt make a police report on time but I did file with the Equal Employment Oppurtunity Commision. They want to close my file because i didnt provide enough information about witnesses. Thats wrong that they want to close the file on my case because that is confidential information that the company I used to work for wouldnt voluntarily provide. May I sue the EEOC for delaying me like this? The incident took place December 24, 2007. moreResolved Question: Are there Equal Employment Oppurtunity laws that protect against muppet discrimination?
I know damn well this is the only reason I didn't land that upper management position with that prominent company. It certainly wasn't due to a lack of education, intelligence, charisma, or experience MEEP!spelling edit: Opportunity moreResolved Question: Did a background check consent form violate my Equal Employment Oppurtunity Rights?
Equal Employment Oppurtunity laws prohit questions like: race, sex, maiden name and full date of birth from being asked on a background check consent form. I recently got promoted at work and I was asked to state my full DOB on the consent form, were my EEO rights violated?NOTE: I know for a fact they're prohibited from asking; What I'm not sure about is whether or not they're using it to reduce my oppurtunity. moreResolved Question: Do you think Santa Claus is a jerk?
In the movie Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, I think Santa Claus is a complete jerk to Rudolph for telling him that he needs to do something about his nose if he is "ever going to make his sleigh team." That is a form of discrimination and should be covered under the Equal Employment Oppurtunity law. Then he completely ignores the elves when they are singing their Christmas song and tells them it "needs work". WTF Santa, I know things are hectic around Christmas but come on, you're supposed to be Jolly Ol' St. Nick. In the movie "The Year without Santa Claus", Kris Kringle cancels Christmas because he believes ADULTS have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. Now you see why I think the guy is a jerk; Christmas is all about the kids Santa, even you should know that. Anyway, what do you think? moreTop Equal Oppurtunity Employment Links
