Voting Question: 2 month old baby with purple dotty rash?

1st of all my son has had 1 runny poo a day since his 8 weeks needles including the rotavirus drops, he has been to a doctor who sed to increase his fluids to keep him hydrated which ive been doing. 5days ago my 11 week old came up with purple flat spots on his legs. I took him straight to the hospital, where they did blood tests and started antibiotics through a drip just for precaution incase it was meningitis like they suspected. After 5 failed drips the 6th 1 they got blood and it came back clear. Then he developed a rash on his hand. They did another blood test and nothing came back so they did a culture test on it. My son was in hospital for 25hrs and no fever, lots of wet nappies ect. So he was alowed to come home and they put it down to a viral infection which they said let it run its course. I got a call the next day saying his blood grew staph but its so low they thinkk its contamination and his fine and just bring him back if the rash gets worse or any vommiting or a temperature. I wasnt happy with this so i told them to fax the info to my sons doctor. I went to teh doctors and he has put my son on antibiotics for precaution just incase he has staph and it wasnt a contamination. The rash on his hands was from him clenching his fists cos all teh marks equal up and the purple has faded but his whole body looks like when ur cold and you get the red rash looking type marks. The doc is also saying its viral because there is still no temp and baby is happy and feeding and sleeping fine. Where could this rash come from?? and why does he have diarrhea?? I dont understand and im scared they have missed something, i know all teh bloods have been tested but im still worried. Has anyone gone through this??could he have a bad reaction to the rota vaccine or would that have shown up in the blood?? more

I have been looking for answers recently, answers to alot of questions, like: why are we on earth? and: who stole my BigMac, but I have been thinking about the existance of a God alot, and I found these reasons that show me God is NOT real. Here we go: 1. There is no Geological proof of the great flood. 2. Adam and Eve could not have existed because fossil records CLEARLY show that dinosaurs and earlier forms of life came 3 BILLION years before humans. 3. Evolution has shown that we developed from apes, we havn't just stayed the same. 4. The fact that there are religeons older than Christianity, why would Jesus come only recently, when humans have existed for roughly 2 Million years. 5. 'Angels' and messengers from God seem to only have appeared 2000 years ago, and very frequently, why don't they any more? 6. There are bad things in the world, why doesn't God stop them, if he loves us with all his heart? Letting someone suffer relentlessly, when you have the power to stop the pain easily, is not love. 7. A woman cannot have a baby and still be a virgin, simple as that. 8. There are things that ARE impossible, even to God, such as: you cannot add 2 and 2 to equal 198, you cannot take 6 away from 2 without equalling a negative number. 9. If god is so forgiving, why did he create a hell? 10. Why are children born dead, and with diseases and disabilities, they didn't do antyhing wrong di they? My brother is 13 and I am 15. He gets practically everything he wants and exactly when he wants it! I get want I what but usally when it is on sale or out of style or there is another version out that I can't get. Example - I wanted an IPod for my birthday and I got it 4 months later(My parents made many excuses to not buy me one like: Wait till my next pay check, I need to pay some bills right now, Wait till it goes on sale..etc.) when I did get it, there was a newer version and I wanted that instead but I could get that. Also everytime "I" want something or join into an activity, it is always put off for a long time ( I wanted to go to dance lessons but they never took me and my brother wanted to go take lessons for an instrument he wanted to play and he is going this weekend because my parents already called the person who is going to teach him) The instrument he wants is getting IMPORTED :| from another country just becaouse HE wanted one and my parents are like ok... HE isnt even that crzy its was just he asked once and they said YES RIGHT THEN AND THERE!!! I ASKED TO GO TO A DANCE CLASS ONLY $50 A MONTH AND I CANT GO BUT HE CAN GET AND INSTUMENT FOR $400 + $50ON LESSONS !!!!! I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY!!!!!!!! Another thing is that I am constantly told that he is younger and that is why he gets treated better! Also my mom says that since I am older I need to "Understand" that he is my younger brother and he is the baby of the family. I write a lot of facetious answers, expecting people will "get the joke". But I am so frequently shocked and dismayed that Liberals apparently think I'm serious. Occasionally, a Conservative will make the same mistake, but at least in their case they have explained the reason why: my lampooning of Liberals is such a close approximation of the way many Liberals on YA actually write that the difference is indiscernible! So, if you read the following response I wrote about whether Jesus would be a Democrat or Republican, would you take it seriously, and do you think this speaks to the gullibility, or even the collective intelligence level of each political party? My answer: Of course Jesus would be a Liberal ! He certainly wouldn't be one of those heartless Conservatives. Jesus would understand abortion, it's like when you are writing a paper with a pencil, and you make a mistake. You can just erase the mistake. No harm, no foul. And the baby's soul? Well, God can just recycle it into another person. It's no big deal. I'm sure he does it all the time. Infidelity has gotten a bum rap. OK, so the man "cheats" on his wife. Well, you know what? Either one of two things happens: he discovers he loves his wife more, and then their relationship is even better (unless she found out about his cheating; then she's all broken up and teary-eyed), or the man discovers the mistress is better so he dumps the wife for her. In the second case, maybe the first wife deserved it. She had it coming, like it was karma or something. Jesus talked about karma, right? OK, now you're gonna go spastic on me, but cheating and lying are not the worst things in the world. For example, sometimes a conscientious Liberal is making an argument, but the facts don't back him up. However, we know we're right, so we make something up. What's the big deal? We're just spreading lies to spread the truth. It all balances itself out in the end. Cheating is something that we're taught to disdain from childhood. But what if the kid next to you is smarter? Shouldn't he be compassionate enough to share his answers with you? He's the one in the wrong. He's being selfish; I'm simply making an end run around his selfishness, so in effect I'm doing him a favor. Jesus would advocate freedom for all. Like us Liberals, he's all about love and the equal distribution of wealth. But many times, people (Conservatives) don't know what's best for them, so we have to forcibly tell them what to do. We are protecting them for their own good, and that necessity trumps the right of the individual. Voting Question: Attending my first child custody hearing , what should I expect ?

I have a court hearing for my child custody case this coming week. I am only seeking joint custody and joint physical custody but my son’s mother is seeking full custody. I opened up the case because my child’s mother was unwilling to do so. In fact I did a paternity test to establish paternity (and I am the father). I am willing to even pay child support, but all I ask is that I have my son and give me equal rights as a father. Resolved Question: 2 year old drooling problem?

My son is 2 1/2 years old. And he still drools like an infant. All of his baby teeth have come in, so I know he can't be teething. He seems to drool so badly that it's even caused his chin to chap, resulting in a dry ruff patch. I have found Neosporin helps to heal it, but it still comes back because of the drool. So my question is, does anyone else have this problem with their 2 year old? I am planning on taking him to the doctor, but it seems whenever I see kids his age, they don't have this problem. Hi, I have a dilemma and dont know what to do. I have searched the internet for answers but have come back with conflicting advice. I am 39 weeks pregnant and when my daughter is born she will obviously need her birth registering. I am not married to her father and we have been split up since almost the beginning of my pregnancy. He is a drunk and a loser (which came to light after my getting pregnant by him) and shows no interest in his other child (10yr old boy). He knows that my life is my kids and that the only way to hurt or get at me is through them and as such I wondered if there was anyway to prevent him from getting equal responsibilty to the baby. He is not fit to be around her and i'm really worried that if we fall out he would do something like taking her just to punish me. I have been told that if he is not named on the birth cert unless he gets a dna test as proof she's his he has no automatic parental responsibilty but I need to ensure this. I am not a bad person who is trying to dupe this man but when you love your kids as much as I do the thought of anything happening to them because I didn't protect them scares me to death. If he decides to turn himself around and take an active part in her life I will not stop him but I want to ensure legally he cannot just up and leave with her. So far he has not provided anything toward her be it emotionally or financially and he contributes nothing to the upbringing of his son either so I really need to get this straight in my head before the baby arrives. Please dont sit in judgement of me as everyone makes mistakes (and I don't mean my baby) but she will not miss out on anything as myself and my family are ready to love this little one just like my other 2 fantastic kids. If somebody is 32 and still drinking out of a baba, then you got a problem. People get mad at me when I bag on those who work low run jobs. Have I worked at a Carvel Ice Cream store? Yes I have. Was I a telephone solicitor and did I sell bottom of the barrel stuff? Yes I have. Did I work as a cashier at a grocery store as I was a kid going to college? Yes I did. Did I deliver newspapers? Resolved Question: Should I leave my BF?

I work full time and he only goes to school. We have a 2 year old daughter and since she was born he only had one "temp" job. When I come home from work after picking up the baby he is usually home. I have to then make dinner and do homework and then put the baby to bed. He usually is playing Wii or something. We had 2 cars until he recked one of ours so we share one which I pay for (insurance and Car note) which equals to about 700. I pay the rent, childcare, cell phone, cable and food all by myself. My Bf likes to go out with his buddies on Friday so I am stuck in the house with nothing to do. Now that he has little comedy gigs here and there He needs the car more so I am stuck without one. Children's Rights Protected Islam is also very much about rights. Children also have rights in Islam. When a man dies his wealth is left to his family. How could the court know who to give the wealth of a man, if he was one of several husbands to a woman? How would a child know who his father was? No society ever supported the concept of a woman being married to two or more men at the same time. Women's Right - Best Treatment Almost every society supported the concept of a man having more than one woman. I was thinking about single-motherhood and why so many marriages break up after the introduction of a baby, and I realized, that men usually have affairs and the relationship dies sometime after a baby comes along. In most people there is room in our heart to love two things an equal amount. Most wives would not accept the idea that they are "#2" and get leftover love from their husband. Yet the moment a woman has a kid, her man takes a new place in her heart: #2. He gets leftover love, rather than primary love. This results in someone hurt. Its no wonder he has an affair because he is no longer important to his wife, who now has a child. Marriages that work are those where the woman does not make her husband feel unimportant, like he doesn't matter anymore. Ask any single mom, who comes first, and it will always be her kids 99% of the time. No wonder they are single. THey need a man for unconditional love, yet they themselves are incapable of loving a man unconditionally. From the man they expect unconditional love. From the man they expect safety in a relationship, but from them they give conditional love, and from them they offer no safety in a relationship (its all about the kid). Those women who, in their hearts are able to love their children AND their man with equal (yet different) unconditional love are the women who find their men are still around after baby. Voting Question: why can't my 289 roast em?

Some of my friends have 4 and 6 cylinder cars that can spin the tires *stock* yet my modded 289ci Mustang can't.. It's got a mild cam, intake, U/D pullies, 600cfm 4 barrel, L/T headers, then some updated things like electronic ignition and what not. I'm on some forums, and others have 289's that are either equal to or closer to stock than mine, and they can spin the tires with ease they say. What's wrong with my baby! Sure it's 40 years old but a V8 should still have at least enough torque to spin the TIRE! I don't have posi, it's only gotta spin ONE tire and it can't! Is my carb out of tune? I tuned it using to where it pulls the most vacuum which is how the Holley manual said to do it.. is there something else I need to check? Is it because I have 2.79s out back as far as gears go? I have an automatic 3 spd. with a stall around 1.5k (not sure if that's the stock stall or not) What's wrong with this picture?! She has nothing to be angry about, we have a perfectly normal life! At home she will often lash out at her younger brother and tell Kain he is a "stupid baby" and try and really hurt him over stupid things. E.g. Today he was very sick, i was giving him a fair bit of attention so i decided to really try and equal it out, because i knew if i didn't, it would set her anger dial off. He was sitting in his little couch and i was playing "snap" the card game with her. He vomited on his couch so i asked her to just wait while mummy cleaned it up. [it was the first time it had happened in the day too.] I grabbed Kain and then went to run the bath with him in my arms. When i had come back from bathing and putting him to bed to clean up the vomit, she had absolutely destroyed the loungeroom & my bedroom. She had turned everything upside down. I was furious and she then ran into his room, grabbed him by the arm and almost threw him out of his own bed. This does not occur often, but that was today's large problem. I sometimes get calls from school telling me she has been hitting or verbally getting very agitated at other children and sometimes teachers. What should i be doing? My friend is mexican but she HATES mexican guys, she also dislikes black guys. She calls mexican guys cholos and makes a lot of hater comments about them. She says its because she hates gangster mentality, yet at the same time she doesn't mind whites and asians that have that type of lifestyle. She puts white and asians [especially asians] above all the other races. Something else about her is that she often times rant about only wanting a 1/2 asian baby. She'll only date whites and asians. I'm 1/2 black and 1/2 korean and she gives me compliments about my asian traits and never my black traits. She has higher standards for everyone else than for asians. On a more positive note, she says she is proud to be mexican and that she loves her culture, but I think that if she had a choice of what race she wanted to be I know she'd choose to be japanese. To me that just seems really biased and RACIST. We've had many arguments about her stereotyping and making generalizations based on race. Also, something about me is that since I am biracial I get racism coming at me from four sides, racism for being black, racism for being asian, racism for being mixed, and racism for being a minority so when people say racist things, even if it has nothing to do with me I take it personal. my brother is in a situation... His girlfriend and him had a baby the baby is now six weeks. She was suppose to go home for two weeks for her grandmothers funeral. It has been a month and she is starting to refuse to come home on bus or plane. With gas prices driving up to go get her is outrageous. She went on a bus, but now refuses to come back on a bus. She keeps saying she is comming back soon. He is worried about his son they have had to take him to the ER where she is at already. He just wants him home where he is safe. What could be done to get the baby home? in the hospital they signed the paternity papers, she acknowledged him as the father thus giving his equal rights, now that she is out there the grandma is alive, and is comming up with excuses not to come back what could be done? she has not established legal residency into the state she is in, she is legal resident of the state that my brother is currently in. Is there anything that could be done immediately to get the baby back? she has basically stole the baby from him, and refuses everything to him... can child services go take the baby in that state? what can be done? can he file charges or anything? please if you could help with this situation that is very apperciated :) when filing a report what will that do? will they try to get the baby back? will child services hold the baby till court or somthing? Resolved Question: I'm a care giver for a 10 month old that constantly cries for attention?

His mother is 38 and this is her first baby, so most likely he is held all the time. I cuddle him several times a day, read to him, & play games with him, but when I put him in the playpen for just a few minutes to go to the kitchen, restroom, etc..he gets hysterical. As soon as I come back in the room & pick him up he just starts smiling. He had a dr. appt yesterday because she felt his crying fits might be a result of ear infection or teething but the doctor said he's perfectly healthy. He also won't go to sleep without being rocked, put down with a bottle, or put in a baby swing. With my 2nd and 3rd daughters, I let them cry it out when they would cry to be picked up or cried to get to sleep, but I also made sure they had an equal balance of cuddling so they felt secure that I was there for them. For the most part they learned in about 30 days how to put themselves to sleep and entertain themselves. I learned to do this because I spoiled my first child with holding her all the time and she didn't stop sleeping in my bed or stop having tantrums until she was 10. I feel bad about doing this for a child I'm paid to keep, but I also feel that picking him up every time he cries or showing him attention every time he cries, or by not teaching him to fall asleep without bottles or swings will cause him (which he is already beginning to do) to pitch screaming fits to get what he wants. For my own sake, it's much easier to just to give him the bottle or put him in the swing because I only have him for 9 hours a day and like many parents, giving them whatever they demand to make them stop crying is the easiest thing. ok So Im wondering who is right? yesterday my mother and I went to a bead show and we took my old baby sitter who treated me very well as a child and was always there and always very nice and helpful. This babysiter is probably one of the nicest people I know and over theyears has become a family friend coming to my highschool graduation and gave me a rather substantial gift for my college graduation along with very nice birthday and christmas gifts which all except graduation gift have been returned in kind with equally valuable gifts. now from a materialistic point of view we have maintained a very level and fair trade between the two families hers and mine. however since lateely over tha oast 8 or so years as I have become an adult we see her and her family occasionally and have become friends. Any way my mother wished for me to write her a thank you note for coming with us to the show and while I have no problems with writing thank you notes and find all this materialistic dueling to be juvenile I dont think this event warrants a thank you for joining us on this little hour drive to a show to which she had equal interest in attending as my mother who invited her did. So what I am wondering do you think a thank you note would be in good taste for simply going to a bead show as mutual friends? Also it should be noted that I was not the one to initiate the invitation I welcomed it and enjoyed her company also my mother and her are of similar age so its not as if it was a teenage babysitter. haha yeah, make the parents happy thats definitely the safest route. Respons. would include help babysit as needed, along w/ light household duties - dusting, mowing - nothing too strenuous. She would not be a nanny - as I am mostly a sahm, & her main focus wouldn't be our 2 kids (both under the age of 3) but I do work very pt & my husband & I would like a date night on occassion, & could use an extra hand around the house. We don't have much $ to pay her - is it an equal trade to have her do this "mother's helper" work part time & we cover the cost of living (no rent), & everything like laundry, food, cable, etc. She would be able to have an outside pt job as well - to make/save up money if wanted. Have you had this type of help/agreement with someone? How did it work? Any suggestions/advice? We would have a written agreement in place....what do we include? yeah - it would only be a couple hours a day - and she'd be more like family than business. The way i look at it, is Hockey is a very exciting game start to finish, so your excitement equals out and comes out in smaller bursts throughout the game, In Baseball it's not as exciting all game long, so your excitement builds and builds until something like a walk off hit happens. and then you put yourself at risk with Cardiac Arrest. Resolved Question: How can my unwed daughter get full custody of her son?

Both her & the dad's name are on the birth certificed, which makes them equal when it comes to the baby by NC law. The dad does not have a job & still lives at home with his mother. My daughter is 21, has a job & has a home for her & her son. Right now he gets the baby every Tuesday 6-9 & Thursday at 6pm to Saturday as 6pm. This started when he was 7 months old, he is 1 years old now. The dad always leaves the child with his mother while he goes out & parties. Now he is trying to get more time with the baby just to hurt my daughter for not getting back with him. He is abusive with his mouth & has pushed her around before.
