Are Men And Women Physically Equal Questions asked
Open Question: A slightly deeper one: Women, Do you want a guy who is your equal in how handsome he is?
Yeah, looks don't really matter. But suppose we all lived on another planet and they did matter. ;-) Now, would you want your man to be as good-looking as you? Or does it feel better if he is slightly less attractive physically? Yeah, I know, apples and oranges. Trust your gut and don't overthink it. Thank you!I'm a WHALE not a dolphin!: Hey, nice to see you again. Too bad about the name change though! Love you! ;** moreResolved Question: Where are our equal rights to getting punched in the face?
Why is it that if man punches a woman in the face, he is condemned for life as woman beating scum, but if a woman punches a man in the face, it's no big deal? I thought we were passed this sexist stuff? And just in anticipation for the whole "women are physically weaker than men" arguments, how would this be any different from a physically weak man punching a physically strong man in the face? moreResolved Question: poll/survey: Even if a fat man has mucho money, is it still difficult for women to be attracted to his fatty?
yes or no I'd think so, to heck with mucho money, I'd like to think that making your own money and finding someone else on a more physically equal level to yourself, along with personality, and career/education etc. is way better like seriously I don't understand how women can sell themselves out for a fat guy who thinks he can get a "trophy" woman because he has some money phleaze moreResolved Question: Are men and women equal physically, socially, mentally and spritually?
moreResolved Question: which of these surprises you? and why?
I'm just curious. •Adults 18 and older need 30 minutes of physical activity on five or more days a week to be healthy; children and teens need 60 minutes of activity a day for their health. •Significant health benefits can be obtained by including a moderate amount of physical activity (e.g., 30 minutes of brisk walking or raking leaves, 15 minutes of running, 45 minutes of playing volleyball). Additional health benefits can be gained through greater amounts of physical activity. •Thirty to sixty minutes of activity broken into smaller segments of 10 or 15 minutes throughout the day has significant health benefits. •Heart disease is the leading cause of death among men and women in the United States. Physically inactive people are twice as likely to develop coronary heart disease as regularly active people. •37% of adults report they are not physically active. Only 3 in 10 adults get the recommended amount of physical activity. •Poor diet and inactivity can lead to overweight/obesity. Persons who are overweight or obese are at increased risk for high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, stroke, gallbladder disease, osteoarthritis, sleep apnea, respiratory problems and some types of cancer. •41 million Americans are estimated to have pre-diabetes. Most people with pre-diabetes develop type 2 diabetes within 10 years, unless they make changes to their diet and physical activity that results in a loss of about 5-7 percent of their body weight. •Obesity continues to climb among American adults. Nearly 60 million Americans are obese. More than 108 million adults are either obese or overweight. That means roughly 3 out of 5 Americans carry an unhealthy amount of excess weight. •The percentage of adults in the United States who were overweight or obese (body mass index greater than or equal to 25) in 1999-2002 was 65 percent. Overweight and obesity cuts across all ages, racial and ethnic groups, and both genders. A new study in the Netherlands found that excess weight cuts years off your life. •16 percent of children and teens aged 6 to 19 were overweight in 1999-2002, triple the proportion in 1980. Fifteen-percent of children in the same age group are considered at-risk for overweight. The percentage of overweight African American, Hispanic, and Native American children is about 20%. •More than 10 percent of children between the ages of 2 and 5 are overweight, double the proportion since 1980. •Health risks associated with being overweight or obese include type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, arthritis. •The major barriers most people face when trying to increase physical activity are time, access to convenient facilities, and safe environments in which to be active. •School and worksite interventions have been shown to be successful in increasing physical activity levels. •Physical activity among children and adolescents is important because of the related health benefits (cardio-respiratory function, blood pressure control, weight management, cognitive and emotional benefits). •According to a study done by the National Association of Sports and Physical Education (NASPE), infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers should engage in at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily and should not be sedentary for more than 60 minutes at a time except when sleeping. •One quarter of U.S. children spend 4 hours or more watching television daily. •Young people are at particular risk for becoming sedentary as they grow older. Encouraging moderate and vigorous physical activity among youth is important. Because children spend most of their time in school, the type and amount of physical activity encouraged in schools is important. •Only 25 percent of students in grades 9 through 12 engaged in moderate physical activity for at least 30 minutes on 5 or more of the previous 7 days in 2003. moreResolved Question: If men and women are equal, but men are physically superior, does that mean that men are infact superior?
(men are physiclly superior, to virtually all extents and purposes except giving birth)Women have proportionately more lower body strength, for their weaker body. You can't really say you'd choose to be kicked in the face by an average man instead an average woman. And I'm guessing that you said it. You've probably said it out loud before if you're posting it now. BAH Gandhi, what would he know about strength? He's emaciated. moreResolved Question: I have some discoloration and purple blotches down there near my girl parts. What is it?
Isn't it time that we voted to make "feminism" an illegal HATE CRIME, since that is what it is...hate ?!! There are proposals currently in over 30 US States for 2010, to make "feminism" a classification of a HATE CRIME, along with "racism" , "bigotry" and all other forms of pure HATE toward any gender, race, social class... and rightfully so. Its long been known that FEMINISM is a very disgusting and ugly cancer on society and any female who takes part in it, is not a normal female, and many are criminally insane, fueling hatred and spewing disgusting lies and their own sick and silly sputtering. Finally lobbying has accomplished some significant PROGRESS toward denouncing and retarding the proliferation of this HATE phenomenon called FEMINISM. FEMINISM IS A HATE CRIME. It is likely that it will undoubtedly be a referendum vote in many States, but in most, as with the 'gay marriage' issue, it will be a closed vote in the House & Senate and a bill signed into law by the governors of each State. Also attached to those bills are provisions that will restrict or limit, or completely ban any outside funding of special interest "Women's Studies" by the Rockefeller and Ford Foundations, without also funding "Men's Studies" programs equally, on the basis and rationale of sex/gender discrimination and promoting HATE. Thank God. People are finally starting to wake up!! Thankfully in recent polls, nearly 90% of women do NOT consider themselves (or will not openly admit to ) being of feminist value system, and agree that it was "stupid stuff women in the 70's and 80's did" . It is likely that FEMINISM IS ALREADY A TOTALLY DEAD HORSE. However, its still important to classify it as a HATE CRIME and make it illegal. Being found guilty of a hate crime like 'feminism' will carry stiff punishments, according to proponents of the new bills. One year mandatory jail time in "must prosecute" States. Its about time.... finally some fresh air to breathe again !!!! It has long been known that Feminism was created by Elite Men like Rockefeller/Rothschild and the banking cartels to destroy humanity by splitting apart the family. Why did women fall for this stunt ? Is it because they are not as adept at scientific rationale ? Research has already shown women have smaller brains and lower IQ's than men, a result of thousands of years of evolutionary natural selection, as different as the sex differences (females preferred mates more intelligent toward carrying on genetic lineage), as well as males choosing physically more attractive mates. It would seem not a lot has changed. In fact feminism has rotted women out so badly that today's young woman gets a job and buys a new pair of boobs, men get sex for free and don't have to compete for women anymore, just their own jobs. Why do most people think women are so foolish to believe in feminism and equality ? Equality is a joke. The elite who want to control the world and exterminate 5.5 billion people, kill women and children every single day, dropping bombs on them and calling it "heroic" and "patriotic". Why do women CONTINUE to watch feminism on TV, act like men, try to behave like men, and poison their own gender, and men against them ? Is it due simply to their LACK of INTELLIGENCE ? Men seem to get it. Few men ever fell for 'feminism'. Most seem to know that it is OTHER powerful wealthy elite MEN who create and finance it !!!! I wish women were equal to men..then if equally intelligent, they would have rejected feminism and we would not be in the mess we are in now... What do you think ? Notice the answers from women...will be poisoned with emotional outbursts and childish rants, instead of intelligent discourse. No I do not think men and women are equal. They have different skills and roles and should work toward having the harmonious relationships that existed for centuries, prior to the INVENTION and FUNDING of communism disguised as 'equality' by the economic elite. Rockefeller and Rothschild and the Masons/Illuminati control, fund and promote it all. That means they believe they OWN YOU ladies. There are NO FEMALES in their secret cults. Only men... so why are you not as smart as they are ? Why don't you mind-program the masons/illuminate with your TV shows, instead of the other way around. You do as you're told ? You watch what they tell you to watch, and you behave like they tell you to. This is your idea of 'independance' ? Oh silly girls... listen to a non-elite banker male next time. It was all a lie... you fell for it. Not too bright.... moreResolved Question: Isn't it time that we voted to make "feminism" an illegal HATE CRIME, since that is what it is...hate ?!!?

THE SECOND ANSWER BY A FEMALE IS NEITHER, A RANT, A RETORT, EMOTIONAL OUTBURST AND TYPICAL HATE SPEWING BY A FEMINIST. SOON THIS PERSON WILL BE LOCKED UP FOR CRIMINAL AND ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOR.NOTE : THIRD ANSWER, ALSO FROM FEMALE. MORE HATRED, MORE SPEWING OF EMOTIONAL DISGUST (PROJECTION OF HER OWN INNER HATRED AND LACK OF LOVE FROM HER OWN MOTHER), WHICH APPARENTLY IS VERY COMMON AMONG 'FEMINIST' ARCHETYPES WHO ARE IN NEED OF THERAPY, AS THIS PERSON IS. SOON, SHE WILL BE LOCKED UP FOR 'HATE CRIME' SPEECH AS WELL.NOTE : TRACEY 'S REACTION IS NOT TO HAVE AN INTELLECTUAL DISCOURSE BUT TO 'LAUGH' AND ACT AS IF LAUGHTER CAN BE USED TO ASSUALT THE CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY OF OTHER PEOPLE, INSTEAD OF REALIZING THAT WHEN SHE IS LAUGHING AT OTHERS, SHE IS REALLY EXPOSING HER OWN INNER CHILD... DEFINITELY IN NEED OF THERAPY THIS YOUNG GIRL. AGAIN, ONCE ITS MADE ILLEGAL, LAUGHING WILL BE ANOTHER 'HATE CRIME' IF YOU ARE LAUGHING AT SOMEONE ELSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF YOUR OWN SICKNESS. THIS IS ALSO INCLUDED AS A PROVISION IN THE NEW LAWS. WOMEN HAVE HELPED TO CONSTRUCT THESE NEW LAWS. THEY ADDED THEIR MAKE-UP SMUDGE TO THE DOCUMENTS AFTER SOME MEN HAD AN INTELLECTUAL DISCUSSION TO CREATE THEM. THE WOMEN WERE ALLOWED TO SIGN THEIR NAMES OR JUST PUT A MAKEUP SMUDGE ON IT TO ENDORSE IT, WHICH MOST CHOSE THAT OPTION.note : KrisW ... is very feminine looking and responds more like a female. He is more than likely gender-disadvantaged, meaning his gender-identity has been so malformed or damaged, that he/she/it cannot decide for he/she/it self how to respond to facts and empirical data. His/hers/its dissociated identity crisis causes it to see-saw back and forth... almost a bipolar delusion. Its first statement is largely an attempt to make a construct based on potential logic (male), but fails because it is false, and its second statement is wholly emotional retort (female). I would say that he/she/it is a feminist, and actually hates his former self for his own self-betrayal. His disdain for himself is clearly demonstrated here.BEST ANSWER GOES TO BOODLE. I know women tend to be more into the personality aspects and good traits of a man, so I tried to ask questions pertaining to these types of things. I'm just trying to get an idea how women operate. Feel free to add anything that you think could help me understand you better! haha Answer away! 1) Education: ideally how much would you like your man to have? or, would you rather that he has an equal amount as you? more than you? 2) Physically: what's the FIRST thing you look for? Second and third? 3) Music: Personally, what's your favorite type of music? Would you like him to be a musician? If so, which instrument would be your favorite for him to play? 4)Socially: how much would you like your ideal man to go out and party? and just how many guy friends is a healthy amount for him to have? 5) Last one- "Us time": how much would you like your guy to text you each day? If less, then how much each week? What's the minimum amount of time that you would like to be together throughout a given week? 2 days? 3 days? moreResolved Question: why are women shunned?
why is that women are so afraid, and is it so politically incorrect and sexest to say a womens role is to build a family nurture and raise her children. women bear the children we have the milk to nurish them its in our nature to nurture them, to teach and guide and love them, women and men are built differently biolically, physically and mentally. Women complain about fair conditions equal pay, and then they get maternity leave and sick leave for there kids, dont get me wrong if you want to work go for it , but why is it that we cant say its womens work thats what we were born to do (primarily) now days if you do stay at home to raise a family your looked apon as a no good welfare abuser. my family have taken on a traditional family composition where my husband works i stay home and care for our 3 children and 1 foster child(most people i met say we cant afford that) i cook all our meals, i clean the houseand i enrich our children with outings and home play our family misses out on nothing, So why is it so socially unexceptable foor me to be proud and feal empowered?and i do feel empowered and proud and its my duty to be a wife and motherto king kha why cant my career goals and life dreams be to raise the most beautiful family, in my 50,s i plan to be there for my children who are starting thier families. my husband and i have made investments that will (if all goes to plan we wonder somtimes in these economical uncertenties) take care of us when we retire moreResolved Question: Gay marriage or "civil partnership"?
Fist of all, I've always supported gay marriage; I think that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality, and same-sex couples should have all the same rights as heterosexual ones. But recently I've heard a few good points about the matter of "gay marriage". Really it's just in the name itself- by its original definition marriage is the joining of a man and woman for life. Yes, I understand all couples should receive equal treatment, but you can't ignore the fact that a same-sex couple is different from a heterosexual one. They're equal, but they are not physically the same, and that has to be addressed. In the future, if a joining between two people of the same sex and a joining between two people of the opposite sex were called the same thing, would it not get confusing? Although I feel there is absolutely nothing wrong with homosexuality, it's not exactly natural. By that I mean that most humans are naturally attracted to the opposite sex. It's just the way nature is, right? So there's no reason to confuse that. (That sounds offensive, but I can think of no better way to put it.) If in the future a kid said he or she planned on getting married, and they were asked to what sex they would be married to, would it not eventually make them confused about their sexuality? So, my point is (sorry for ranting), same-sex marriage and marriage of the opposite sexes are different. They're just different. One is in no way better than the other, but different things need different names, so as not to confuse them. That is what I think. So my question to you is: Should "marriage" (the quotation marks are not meant to be disrespectful >.<) between the same sex be called "marriage", "gay marriage", "same-sex marriage", etc., or should it have another name, such as "civil partnership", but with all the same rights? Or something better than "civil partnership".... It doesn't have to sound so unromantic...To first answer: Really? o.o What's up with that? That's ridiculous!Oh right, it's called a civil union, not partnership. My bad. But really, you think an interracial marriage and a marriage of people of the same race are different? Of course they're DIFFERENT, a black pen and a blue pen are DIFFERENT, but they're still both pens. However, a pen and a pencil are different on another level. (Oh my that was a stupid analogy.) And you think calling 2 things by different names make them unequal? A girl is called a girl. A boy is called a boy. Does that mean they are unequal? I think you're right about that, though. If I wanted to marry a woman I would want her to be called my wife, not my partner, and I do find that unfair.Btw (this is @ 3rd answer, sorry if I'm just ranting and you're not planning on checking back on your answer), I said most, not all. I'm aware of that; one of my dearest friends has never been attracted to the opposite sex. moreResolved Question: Why can't women admit the obvious inbalance of power between the genders they've created?
With all the gains of the women/feminist movement, women have an obvious inbalance of power within our society. Yes women are definitely the equals to men intellectually. There's not disputing that. However women are more powerful socially, emotionally, and mentally. Men of course are stronger physically but in our age physical strength is obsolete. Women are even gaining more and asking for more power at the expense of men. Men no longer have leverage in our society. Socially, women have the advantage regarding the most intimate social and personal bonds i.e. motherhood and male/female relationships. Men cannot possibly have the bond with their offspring that mother and child does for obvious biological reasons. In addition to that there's no social premium for men in our society, regarding sex, dating, marriage women are in complete control. Women are needed and wanted a lot moreso in these areas of our lives. In this regards, women are actually more powerful in our society today than men. My question is how come women continue to portray themselves as second class citizens, victims, and subjugated to male authority? Is this not far from the truth? moreResolved Question: My Muslim family rejects me?
My family is majority Muslim on both sides save for my parents (my mother is Christian and my father is not religious). I grew up with them and from a young age, I knew I would never want to be a Muslim. I don't find beauty in it or understand it. As a woman, I found it held me back and I think I'm equal to a man. I know I can physically and mentally compete with men. I'm a quaker (mostly I have Christian based beliefs) and I think that humans are equal regardless of religions, morals, sex and sexuality which Islam obviously rejects. When I was 13, my family married me off to a man more than 3x my age (which I later divorced) for a "bride price" (which is basically a term for "I'll give X amount of money if you let me marry your daughter." Really no different than selling a person.). I don't see how that's right. Anyway, any family that will speak to me that is Muslim will make digs at me. I love my family and I'm fine that that they want to be Muslim. That's their choice. But every time I see them, they try to convert me or they tell me how I'll be punished and I'm wrong and it's wrong for woman to be this way or that way. I really want to have a relationship with my family but Islam is standing in the way. I'm 47 and I've been pretty unstable with them for at least 20 years. What should I do? I know the Qur'an says non-Muslims are unclean and they're pretty die-hard Muslims. Is there any way to get around it?Sungura, you need to tell me nothing about Islam. I know it. I believe in the same God as Muslims and Christians and Jews do. I just don't acknowledge Muhammad and I worship God a different way.Muhammed, if Islam is equal to women, why does the Hijab and Burka exist? moreVoting Question: To all my TTC Contacts and to all Other TTC ladies out there!!?
Some one by the name 'Nacho Mama' had posted this a year ago, i found this to be a good read, and have some prespective into your lives and others. To all women TTC... i hope this helps!!? this really isn't a question, but i thought it was important. i just found www.twoweekwait.com and i think it is very inspirational. i haven't been ttc for long but i know it is surely frustrating and a long drawn out process. i just thought that this would help us all TTC! Good Luck!! This is a collection of thoughts from women facing the emotional rollercoaster of infertility. Some of it may make you cry, some of it may make you smile. The important thing is to realize that you are not alone in your struggle. Infertility may be the most difficult time of your life spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically and mentally. If you are personally experiencing infertility (TTC longer than 12 months) and would like to be prayed for, please email me your prayer request. God bless you. What Nobody Told You About Trying to Conceive... That unprotected sex doesn't necessarily lead to pregnancy. That your sex life would start to resemble a science experiment. That you would see your OBGYN/RE more often than your DH at O time. That the longer you TTC, the more PG women spring up around you. That deep down inside, I can be a very jealous person. That one day you wouldn't mind checking your CM or CP to see if it is your fertile period. That I should have gone to medical school like my mom wanted, because I've had to do so much medical research by now just to figure out what was wrong with me, I might as well be an M.D. That I would know more about the female reproductive system and menstrual cycle than most of the doctors I go to. That living your life in 2 week increments would be the norm That you never knew how much you wanted to see those 2 pink lines......until only one shows up every month That simply relaxing will NOT get you pregnant. (your dh has to do some work too) That you have no control over some of the goals you set... That wishing really hard for something doesn't make it happen, and staring at your chart doesn't make it change! That one day my DH would know so much about how my uterus functions and what it looks like from the inside (thanks HSGs). That a pregnancy doesn't always equal a baby. That miscarriage is so common. That I would wish we had started TTC earlier. That my friends' pregnancies would start to make me sad instead of happy. That I wasted ALOT of money on Birth control pills!! That it would help bring a group of wonderful, caring, funny, empathetic women together like this. That I would EVER be willing to stick a little blue pill up my hoo-haa (estrace pill...done vaginally), That I'd EVER be willing to stab myself in the stomach or @ss every day in the hopes that it will help get me PG. That it wouldn't happen the first time you didn't use birth control like we were led to believe in school. That you wouldn't know how important a baby was to you until it took so long and you realized what you were willing to go through to make it happen. That family would act like getting pregnant was a competition between all the young couples in the family, and the first one to get pg "wins". That my DH is the most wonderful and caring man! That it is insensitive to ask people when they are having a baby! Tat women who do get pregnant are so very blessed! The media loves to hate asian men. Every chance they get they try to reinforce the stereotype of the short, scrawny, nerdy asian male. Take American Idol for example. Out of all the asians they chose William Hung, the epitome of the asian dork; a dork-*** engineer that looks like he has downs. Ever since William Hung, we have not seen another oriental contestant because apparently America has seen all they need to see. I'm so sick of the rumors that asian men have micro *****. How can you defend against a rumor like that? Should I start flashing girls to disprove the rumors? The fact is that Asia is crowded, and the people there don't have the luxury of the nutrition and medicine that is available to Europeans and Americans. My mother and father grew up in Asia and they're 5'2 and 5'7, but I grew up in America and ended up a little above average: I'm 5'11, around 175 lbs, and my dick is 18 cm (slightly over 7 inches). Take a handful of black men from Somolia where they lack sufficient nutrition and I guarantee you that you will see that they are on average signicantly shorter, skinnier and less endowed than the average European or American. Under equal conditions I seriously believe there is no significant difference physically between asians and other races. And it is sad that everyone over looks the fact that asians have higher IQs on average. This just shows how our culture is anti progressive; we should all just aspire to be porn stars. I don't think asians are superior, but I do think people in America portray asians as inferior. For example, people in general don't percieve asians as smart. They percieve them as geeky, which is smart in a negative light.Anoshorahim, I can see your opinions are quite different from mine, but where are the facts. I really don't see how asians are portrayed as exemplary citizens. Indians and Pakistanis are classified as Asian. IQ tests like anyother tests have pitfalls. High IQ doesn't guarantee success, neither is it an exclusive measurement of intelligence. There are other standards like social IQ. I like to see what tests claim that Asians perform poorly on Science. Science isn't typically something tested on IQ tests. As for verbal analogies... what language is this in? The language has to be standardized to be fair. Where are you getting this information? I'm just pointing out some facts here. Why is it alright to point out that asians are physically inferior, and when I suggest that asians are more intelligent it becomes unacceptable? Lastly, anyone who believes that propaganda and how others' percieve you doesn't matter is absolutely naive. One more point... when you think of small what is the first thing that comes into your mind? Some oriental guy or girl? Check out the stats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height). Americans and Europeans are significantly taller while the rest of the world is about the same. As a woman i cant understend why so many women have the idea that to feel you want a man to look after you emotionally is potrayed as some what old fashioned and victorian. in other words out of date! A man is made to be stronger physically and stronger emotionally than us, other wise whats the attraction. a deep voice for a woman is comforting so too is his physical strength i beleive if their were no men (which is impossible anyway) we would be emotionally starving, and very very insecure. men provide us with that security, they protect us from our fears,by their nature, and in return as women we show them our female affections. Deep down i think all women want is a man who initiates love and affection both in love making and in everyday life. the modern world is forcing us to beleive men and women should be equal now sexually and emotionally. i dont agree, nature cant change its self, but society forces you to supress it and live up to a new so called modern day standard.well with regard to your answer (angelic unlc orn) i dont need to get a life as i have one. been married happy for ten years and have the man of my preferrance. i think you and others like you need to get real. so many women are happy with a man who is incharge emotionally, yet so many are still searching for a life and are still lonely and insecure. moreResolved Question: Does It mean I'm prejudice If.....?
I just feel kinda weird when I physically see gay couples being affectionate with each other, mainly kissing. I've never felt that it was wrong to be gay, never thought that they shouldn't have equal rights or any of that. I actually was uncomfortable watching the movie Milk with sean penn. That's what brought this question to ask here. I feel bad for feeling like this cause I don't like prejudice in any form. I just can't help but go "ahhhh man damn" when i see gay people kissing, no matter man or woman.and no i'm not uncomfortable with my sexuality. I'm straight, I've actually been confused for being gay cause i'm comfortable saying another man is good looking. Most guys won't admit that another man is good looking. Two of my best friends are gay.I'm not uncomfortable being around gay people, I don't think any less of gay people. I don't think they're monsters lol. Just can't help but look away when i see them kiss. I just go ewww. moreResolved Question: Who physically works harder during sex?
Male or female? Their sex drives are equal. Both are exerting the same amount of effort between positions. What muscle groups are applied for each of them in the majority of positions? Does it take more energy for the man or the women. moreResolved Question: Women are not attracted to men.....?
Ladies, would you agree with this? "Women are not actually attracted to men. There is a vague idea of what a man is physically, and some are better than others aesthetically speaking, but the purely physical appearance of a man is almost inconsequential unless he is horribly ugly or outrageously attractive. Women are attracted to status, money, how much a man smiles and laughs, how many friends and resources a man has, how full a man's life is--how many "cool," "exciting" and prestigious things he is doing or connected to. They are interested in how other people view him--how many people want to be around him, how other people interact with him and whether their interactions convey that he is special and amazing. They want him to be extremely outgoing and aggressive, they want him to demonstrate his status over other people by dominating them in various non-violent ways. A woman's attraction to a man is a function of her jealousy at the thought of another woman having that man. She doesn't care who he actually is or EXACTLY what he looks like physically, she only cares about the VALUE of the life he has constructed around himself. A woman basically is a greedy materialistic prostitute. Although that sounds vulgar, it's true. She trades her physical self to buy into the success a man has created for himself. As a man, I fall in love with how a woman is physically. I fall in love with simple parts of a woman. Like the way her hair falls around her face, the line of her neck, her shoulders. They way her ears might peek from her hair. Her eyelashes. The size and shape of her hands, her fingernails. The way she walks, the way she looks when she is tired or annoyed, the sound she makes when she sneezes, coughs, or cries. The way she sits in a chair. The way she breathes while experiencing different emotions. The way her lips move. A million little things. Sure, a huge part of my attraction is mental, but the powerful seed of love that builds within me and crystallizes is based greatly on visual things that set off torrents of emotion and need. It seems to me that women almost cannot think for themselves. Their estimates of worth are based on other peoples' estimates of worth. They don't really find an object beautiful on their own. The object becomes beautiful when other people let her know that it is beautiful. I'm completely unable to reconcile the differences between men and women. It seems like success with women is equal to spending half of your life working to create a giant illusion, something vastly tiring and annoying, while sacrificing your own true self and your own interests. We construct our lives around nest-building. We're like male birds building nests and showing them off to attract mates. It's pathetic. Everything we do is to get women. It is a fucking **** deal. Someone needs to invent a drug which has no hormonal imbalance side-effects but is able to erase a man's sex drive and attraction to women. It would increase productivity rates to incredible heights. I'd be free and happy. I'd feel complete. I'd be able to concentrate on my biochemistry studying." moreResolved Question: What exactly constitutes 'feminism,' to you?
The word 'feminist' is arguably a counterproductive term to bat around in debate because it means such different things to different people. For a little exercise, please define feminism, and say whether each of the following viewpoints is 'feminist' or not: 1) Gender should be an irrelevant curiosity in modern professional society, in the same way that blood type, eye and hair color, race, and other doubtlessly biological yet socially irrelevant characteristics are. Outside the bedroom, hospital, and romantic world, gender shouldn't matter at all. 2) Men and women are inherently different, but are equal because they possess different but equally valuable attributes. There is a certain proper set of behaviors and characteristics for men and a certain different proper set of behaviors and characteristics for women, but these sets are equally valuable, so men and women should respect each other as different but equal. 3) Men have historically oppressed women, so it is only fair and right than men should suffer some minor level of oppression at society's hands to set the ground back equally. A certain level of scapegoating and institutional discrimination against men in the modern world is tolerable in light of what has happened historically. ...and some less general viewpoints: a) Men are physically superior to women, so women should receive lighter sentences and more lenience in violent crimes than men, and we should be more concerned with protecting women from rape and assault than men. b) Scholarships that discriminate against men, and 'affirmative action' in academia and industry in general, are acceptable for historical reasons. c) The Selective Service, which requires men and not women to register from the draft, should remain in place. d) Women are superior to men in raising children, so this should be taken into consideration in marital custody disputes, and women who rely on men to support them while they raise children should be admired. e) Stay-at-home dads should be admired. f) The oppression of homosexuals and/or homosexuality is a bad thing. g) Rape is not broadly enough defined; if a couple has sex and one partner regrets it and feels pressured, even if there is no violence, threat of violence, or blackmail, the reluctant partner has been 'raped.' h) Only men can rape, and/or only women can be raped. moreResolved Question: Is Chivalry really dead?

Seriously... with all the constant talk of men and women being "equal" and everything... Everytime a woman: -Lets a man buy her a drink -Waits for a man to make the first move -Lets a man pay for the date -Waits for the man to call -Seeks out dates but refuses to approach men -Shys away from physically demanding work -Expects a man to support her financially -Act like hitting a woman is worst than hitting a man -Flirts her way out of a speeding ticket -Crys to get her way -Becomes a stripper -Etc, etc, etc.... ... Women today claim always to be the equal of men. It doesnt really seem to have changed the fact that if you want a woman to be interested in you in a sexual and/or romantic capacity then you had better be: Taller Richer Stronger Faster Smarter Tougher Older Braver If you are not at least most of these things she will despise you. Some of you women are no doubt going to deny this, but come on ask yourself; If you were taller or physically stronger or braver than a man would not your opinion of him plummet immediately? You just don't see taller women going out with shorter men, richer women don't date poorer men, and being physically weak and/or a coward is basically the same as taking a vow of celibacy. Many people took issue with the faster thing. The point I was making was that you basically have to be physically superior to her in every way. If a woman beats you at a physical challenge (or any challenge really for that matter) you instantly become less of a man in her eyes. Oh and unforgiven your answer was laughable. Women do not go for losers, not if they have anything going for themselves, maybe that's YOUR pathetic excuse for not having got laid. moreResolved Question: Should father and mother have equal rights over the child?
I believe they should once the child is born, and cared for by both parents. But when the mother is still pregnant, she should have more rights over the child, as she is physically connected to it and nurturing it. (Though, if the father is incredibly attentive and going to all the scans, helping the mother stay healthy etcetc and generally being more a part of the pregnancy, he should have almost equal rights to the mother, rather than a father who doesn't support the pregnant mother.) I think in the case of custody and things, both parents should definitely get access to their child, though it may only live with one. I'd generally subscribe to the 'boys live with the father, girls live with the mother' idea, esp when the child is older as it could just generally be more comfortable (example: it is a lot easier for a girl to talk to another woman about periods and stuff that to a man, whether family or not)Primary caregiver is also important in custody- I dnt think its right to take a child away from the parent who has done the most to raise it, male or female. moreResolved Question: Can I file a petition for rights towards mothers name for legitimate child?

Feminists all around the nation claim to want women to be treated the same as men. Women rejoice as they feel they have reached that goal. But they haven't. They surpassed it. If you think about it, women still aren't equal to men. If a woman was hit by a man, he'd get charged for abuse. If a woman hit a man, they'd call it "self defense". Really though. How many women have you heard of that went to jail for physically abusing a male? And let's not forget the sexual objectification. Newsflash: Breasts are not sexual toys! They are mammary glands used to feed babies. People will tell you quick that "It's natural instinct". No it is not! In Africa, the traditional attire has the female's breasts exposed. No one's fondling them! (Well, except the babies..) But do men get this type of objectification? Yes, they get objectified, but not nearly as much. My point is, women are metaphorically above men and below them. Look at high fashion. The females are practically naked, and the males are covered from head to toe. I'd love to hear your opinions on this matter.Ceri, that's how I see it also. I just forgot to add that in. Thank you for stating that. =] moreResolved Question: Are they equal? Males vs. Females?
I am doing a presentation in my english class on why males and females are EQUAL. This is my conclusion: The roles are set because of physical makeup, not because of better or lesser. Man is the protector because he's bigger and physically stronger. Woman was given the awesome responsibility of bearing and rearing the children. How can that possibly be viewed as a lesser role? Is it more important to have someone who provides for your family or to have someone who creates your family? The truth is they are the SAME. Without one, you can't have the other. The roles are different. They balance each other. They are interdependent. One is in no way greater or lesser than the other. Don't tell me that males are better then females. They aren't the same, but our abilities are equal. I am looking for statistics that show that females do the same or better then males in getting an education. Please give me statistics, and anything else that can help me prove that males and females are equals. I often find that as a minority woman, SOME compliments i receive are double edged swords. As a woman, if you are viewed as attractive, people tend to think you wont work as hard, are not as driven and lack intelligence. It seems that most people expect individuals to chose from one or the other...here are some examples. Black men are viewed as sex masters (large penis, great lovers). However, since the focus is on their physical abilities...some may stop viewing them as professionally equals or as scholastically capable. . . many TV shows and sitcoms will cast the black guy as the street wise ladies man side kick... Asians are often portrayed as smart capable business type persons. However, since the focus is on their intellectual ability...they are often physically portrayed as submissive, sexually impotent, or physically weak. Okay now I'm still working on it. So far I have some Guidelines (not complete) so please rate them and help me vote for a name. I have a few and also need to know if other religions have these names. so here are the guidelines so far. 1. If there is/are higher being(s)/gods, then let us hope that they/it understand(s) our logic over blind obedience. 2. Violence is never the answer but is a final solution. 3. Worries over unrecorded pasts and unpredictable futures are useless as they will lead to selfharm and pain. 4. Use of drugs(both legal and illegal) is not strictly forbidden but generaly frowned upon due to the destruction of body and mind; unless for greater health benifits in which natural cures should be sought first. 5. Your body is important such that unhealthy substances consumed such as processed, sugary, fatty, alcoholic, or parasitic should be in moderation or complete absence all together. 6. Personal sexuality i.e. gender prefrences, philias, and such are perfectly acceptable unless it causes harm to oneself, others, or is illegal. 7. Free thinking, as well as questioning why's and how's, should occur at least once a day to ensure the protection of ones individuality and intelect is secured. 8. Worldy possesions lead to greed, envy, jealousy, and exesive pride and should be kept minimal and to one's self to prevent such feelings. 9. One's personal beliefs should never be forced upon another but rather to such others the possibilities. 10. Self needs and others needs should balance out to ensure one's personals are met as well as others, but limit in the form of charity and more as helping create a path for others to help themselves. 11.Men and Women have and never will be truly equal either physically or mentally as will children, elderly and other species. For each person has unique and different qualities that make each individual perfect in their own way. 12. In accordance to 11. although none are equal all individuals should be treated equally despite age, race, religion, gender, intellect, physicallity, or political choses. That's all I have so far.as for names. Extrico Sententias. For 5. how about instead of eating fast food such as McDonald's eat healthy foods that is balanced. Also to eat foods like Hard candies, potato chips, and foods along that lines in less then two handfuls of all said foods a day. As for 6. it doesn't mean if it feels good do it so long as it's legal. It means If you are homosexual or if you like bdsm. then have fun BUT DON'T hurt other people Physically, Mentally, Emotionally or any other form of hurt. So I am also saying that freedom of choice just think of others needs not just your own.As for 7. Free thinking is defined as instead of just doing what people tell you or accepting what you hear on the TV or internet Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freethought (ps if english isn't your language then scroll down and click your language to read it in your language) For 8. moderation as in if you own 4 cars worth 40,000 dollars each then that is excessive. To me, it meant women should fight for equal rights as men. Not physically, but mentally as it doesn't take a man's physical nature to land him a job, career or position of power. This Chris Brown and Rihanna story brought to my attention that some men use women embracing women empowerment as an excuse to why it's ok to hit them if they want to fight. Keep in mind, having equal rights, violence doesn't land men opportunity(aside from physical techniques that are taught for self defense). Instead violence has consequences for both men and women. What does women empowerment mean to you?lol Patrick, are you done ranting? You missed the point and aren't answering the question. This isn't about Sexism either, if some people could read, it's about being confused on equal rights. Don't get me wrong, violent women is not my idea of what women empowerment meant.David - Geez for a guy who has so much knowledge(barely) on urban lifestyle, you sure missed when I said this isn't about sexism. And you would go to jail for beating up a woman who gives you an STD. How about you keep it in your pants if you don't go with her to get tested, because not everyone with and STD knows they have one, and even if she did doesn't justify beating her up. If she murdered you for giving her an STD, she's be in just as much trouble.Talaweh - This was an argument brought up by a guy on men hitting women. It's not sexism sweetie. I see what you are saying but again this isn't about the woman's rights movement.anoshorahim - This is what a person used as an argument to why it's ok to hit a woman. I didn't bring up this question to support feminist and woman fighting for rights that they have today. I'm saying this movement didn't mean an act of violence. And yes some questions are just insane.Matrix - You can argue but it's not hypocrisy that women are weaker than men. It's hypocritical to say a woman can violently attack a man. Men can hurt women physically if they wanted. How could you prove that men aren't genetically stronger, and many men with the self defense claim seem to not know what self defense is or what it means. I don't condone violence but how is what I said hypocritical? If you feel women are hypocritical with their idea of violence, then that's when you address that to them.I didn't give you a thumbs down Matrix, no one got one from me. But I said it is hypocritical to say a woman "can" violently attack a man and suggest that men shouldn't hit women. As I have been clear about this whole argument. Matrix, I could careless who agrees or disagrees as long as I support what I say. Don't worry about me, just focus on the topic and where it makes sense and doesn't.Another thing Matrix - I'm clear on everything I said before. You are bringing up using weapsons, as I said it's not self defense physically(not using weapons), and I woudl think you have seen men fight women who used no weapons(You live in New York, I have too). I've seen guys start physical fights with women. Now is it wrong for either to defend for their lives? My neighbor uses my computer sometimes when I am not home. It's cool. We are good friends. But I found thison my desktop. It's a draft of a letter she wrote her husband? Should I ask her what's going on?I thought maybe her leaving it there was a way of asking for help... What do you think? Here is a copy of what was on my desktop: I want a divorce. The past year has by far been the worst one of my life. I have made a huge mistake by thinking that you were the man that I am supposed to spend the rest of my life with. You are selfish and smug. Your thought process equals that of a child and I am tired of it. I never thought that the early years of my marriage would be spent with a person who thinks it is fun to irritate his wife. Or with one who can sit and watch TV for 10 hours straight every day. It has quickly some to my attention that I am in need a man. That of which you are not. The simplest tasks that you think any man can do, you find hard to accomplish. This relationship is one-sided and I would rather be by myself! I am not happy and everyday spent with you makes me that much more miserable. I hate what my life has become since I married you. I have no friends and all I get to do is sit in the house all day, every day and let the damn TV keep me company. I do not want this type of life for myself anymore. We are two completely different people and it is just impossible to try to merge the two of us under one household. Every day I wake up feeling as if there is a huge gap in my life and a hole in my heart. I can’t stand to be touched by you 99% of the time. I have never had this problem with anyone else that I have been with. My entire sex drive has gone down the drain since I’ve married you. I have completely lost any interest in pursuing any type of relationship with you. I am tired of wondering if the reason you haven’t called me when you wake up, is because you are talking to some other woman on the phone. Or if the reason you stay at the library for 4-5 hours at one time is because you are talking to someone else over the computer. I have insecurities about this marriage and I would just rather not be in it! I’ve said it too many times you don’t believe it. I WANT A DIVORCE. I am not in love with you. I cannot offer you anything because I simply do not love you. The thought of wasting another year in this crap makes my head hurt and I physically become ill. Our anniversary was ruined because you lack to ability of foresight to plan anything! You can plan your whole first marriage a child and God only knows what else for your first wife and I keep getting the short end of the fucking stick. You plan nothing for ours, you tell me to abort MY child and you have us living like fucking paupers. But before it was all wine and dine with her? What the f*** ever!! I don’t want it to take 15 years and be miserable the entire time like my mother to figure out that this is not what I want from life. If you don’t think I am serious about it, then by time you wake up tomorrow you will be in for a rude f***ing awakening. From this day on, your life or marriage will cease to be the same and that is a f***ing promise! I would rather be dead than have to spend one more minute with you! I hate you! I wish I had never f***ing met you. My life was so much better before you were in itIts a shared computer ans she knows that. My husband and other friends have free access to this. So she just left it for everyone to see. She has her own folder on the computer. I've since moved it there. I just thought that since she left it there plain as day, she wanted someone to find it and ask her about it. moreResolved Question: If a girl hits a guy in the nuts for no reason... can he punch her in the jaw as a reaction?
seeing as women are equal to men and all and stand for equality according to feminists.. does this mean if we get physically attacked by women we can react to defend ourselves?Capricorn if you don't like these sort of questions then stay the hell off the forum inequality movements like feminism will attract people like myselfHolly I'll call the police after I deliver a right handerCapricorn spoken like a true feminist.. I'll stay on the forum just for you sweetiewow surfagirl.. guess there are some cool chicks out there :) I'll give ya best answer x moreResolved Question: Why is hitting a woman such a taboo?
Seriously, I don't think women should be justified into doing stupid stuff just because they're physically weaker. If they do something stupid, they should be treated just like a man is treated. Women shouldn't get less jail time than a man should. It should be equal. After all, women want equality, don't they? So why can't they learn to be treated as equally as a man? If a woman hits me, I wouldn't hesitate to hit her back. Women are not toddlers, and they should be responsible for their actions just like a man is. Just like of a man attacked me, I would fight and defend myself, if a woman came and started attacking me, I would fight her and defend myself. Do you agree? Disagree? Leave your opinions here. moreResolved Question: Are guys REALLY wired differently?
Please excuse me but this is going to be long. Anyway my friend is teaching me what real marriage is like because I grew up in a home where the guy treated his wife like a slave and only gave affection just for brief pleasure. I even had other friends that were married to guys like my dad. Anyway I keep hearing from other Christians(including the friend that is teaching me what real marriage should be like. Like the husband and wife should be equal partners not master/slave) that guys are wired differently. And women need and want affection. Guys need sex(I agree about the guy need sex stuff). But...The way I was raised, I'm believe I'm wired like a guy or men and women are wired the SAME way. I am attracted to men but I don't find affection as love. I find affection as a way to get me in bed. Just like if you are affectionate to a guy they think the same way. I'm talking about romantic affection. Guys want to be respected right? Well the only way I feel loved is being respected. Not affection. I don't feel loved by gifts and kisses. I feel loved by being respected. Even in a friendship I think he/she loves me because he/she respects me. So am I wired like a guy or are we all the same? Just so you know I'm from the USA even though it sounds like I'm from the Middle East. They say that physical attraction is extremely important to a guy so they need an attractive wife. Well I'm the same way. Don't get me wrong, I have to get to know them first, and if their personalities are the traits I'm looking for then that's good. But if that good personality guy is not physically attractive to me I wouldn't date him because I wouldn't have any desire to have sex with him since sex is important to men. Just like men don't date women they aren't physically attracted to. Because they would have no desire to have sex with them. moreResolved Question: Why do some people not respect female Porn stars?
The most common complaint is that females are not respecting their bodies. It seems to me that the exact opposite is true. They realize and respect their bodies sexual capabilities to the fullest extent and truly enjoy their work. They are equal participants in all of their sexual relations, a fact that many seem not to understand. People continue to think sex only occurs if the women feels like doing the man a favor. Viewpoints like these are truly disrespectful. Many people say that women are just using their bodies as a way to make money. It seems to me like this is akin to a singer performing for an audience. This singer is also using their body to make money (vocal chords). Both the porn star and the singer certainly enjoy performing, so why should this be a problem. People say that women are objectified in porn, but are men not as well. Men are clearly viewed in porn as just a penis. In fact most of the time, thats all that is even filmed as opposed to women who seem to be the focus of the film. People say that porn promotes the idea of "using" women for sex. No one ever talks about how men can be used for sex. This happens just as frequently, as women enjoy sex too. Why can't people see sex as an instrument that is widely varied in application and can sometimes just be a man and a women enjoying each other physically? The bottom line is this. The very fact that the only complaints about any of this come to the side of women shows that we are still viewing sex as a deed done by men at the women's expense. Thus, we disrespect women by viewing them as creatures that could be taken advantage of. We need to change this by starting to view women as sexual equals, with the same capabilities, and potential offenses as men. What are your thoughts on this? The reason I am writing this is that I have no access to porn right now and have therefore been thinking about it alot lately. hahahah moreResolved Question: Are all bullies equal? Is the emotionally/verbally abusive bully equal to the bully who beats up people?
Why do women so often emotionally bully each other? Shouldn't we call out women who say cruel, hurtful things to other women about their bodies, especially women with vulnerable self-esteem? These women are bullies and they rarely ever get called out for it. They damage women's self-esteem, their sense of worth and sometimes even dehumanize other women. No one admires a bigger man who beats up a man much smaller than himself, it's considered to be bully-ish, coward-like behavior. Both types of people are bullies and cowards who don't understand or care how big/strong they are or how cruel/corrosive they are. Why don't we call out these bullies and cowards? Afterall, if you get beat up by someone bigger than you, you'd be physically hurt but over time your wounds would heal. The wounds from emotional abuse are deeper and they don't fade or heal as easily as physical wounds.Tommy, I'm talking specifically about female bullying... females bullying each other.Seriously, don't answer my questions if you're going to be a prick. I didn't say that women have vulnerable self-esteem, I said that some women attack other women with vulnerable self-esteem. Do you deliberately misconstrue my questions? moreResolved Question: What is up with all these girly men being up in arms about women "assaulting" them?
Are you kidding me? Since when did men not know that they are physically stronger than women and can severely injure them upon retaliation? If a chick hits you, walk away--it probably didn't hurt and if it did...well, go pick out a dress. Yes the sexes are mentally equal, and various people come in various sizes, but it should be UNDERSTOOD that men don't hit women. Unless they feel just as feminine as the woman and equal to her punch strength. moreResolved Question: In a world where we are promoting equality, do most women really think like this?
I recently posted a question about double standards between males and females. The answers I got were appalling and quite offensive. Here’s the original question… I'm a 21 year old male. The other day I went in for a required physical exam and in walked a relatively attractive middle aged woman. I was a little surprised, but I didn't make a big deal of it. She proceeded with the usual question and answer session. Halfway through the session, she randomly said, "You're cute." It wasn't in a threatening way and I can take a compliment, but it seemed a little inappropriate for the situation. Then throughout the physical exam she complimented my smile, my forearms, and then my abs during the abdominal exam. Once again, I blushed, but I found it rather inappropriate. Well to top it off, as all males know, the physical usually ends in a very special exam. I maintained my self control (if you know what I mean), but it just made it a lot more awkward after all of her unprofessional comments. So it got me thinking that what if that situation had been a male doctor with a female patient? You know there probably would have been sexual harassment cases filed or something along the lines. Why do women find it appropriate when the roles are changed? Double standard? Here are some of the answers I received back (all from females)…. “Ya, sure. And I'm the Queen of Sheba. I presume you held a mirror to your face the whole time and that's how you know you blushed? Gimme a break, troll. This is the result of watching too much porno” –Lesser Prairie Chicken “I don't believe you can compare the two. A woman hitting on a man...no one cares or feels 'threatened', the worst is that you feel embarrassed. But when a man hits on a woman, it can be a threatening / scary experience, cos, naturally men are physically stronger, and potentially may overpower the woman. This is why women instinctively feel uncomfortable with men hitting on them when they are not comfortabvle with the situation. There are biological differences there that you have to take into account. As for what the Dr did, yeah, she was innappropriate. But there is no way you could feel intimidated the way a woman would if she was in a similar medical situation with a male Dr treating her the same way.” -Felicia L “Umm...it's only a "double standard" because you didn't speak up.” -Izzi All of these answers also received high ratings from other users (presumably females as well) My new question is, do most women really think like this? I will admit I originally posted it under Gender and Women’s Studies, so I may have received a biased feminist opinion. This is what I am trying to find out. Especially in a world where women are working to become equals, do they still believe double standards are alright with them? moreVoting Question: Can someone please edit my essay?
Social workers must have integrity. This ethical core value is endlessly important. It is the standard of deciding what is right and wrong and what each of us ought to do usually in terms of rights and obligations, benefits, common good, least harm, and social justice for all individuals. These are all central to what social workers want to create en equal Social workers must adhere to the ethical principles of integrity on maintaining a high code of behavior, honesty, trust, being respected, and having a sense of justice and fairness. Being honest and having integrity can be a guide for everything that one does. What to do when no one is watching, knowing the difference between doing the right thing and wrong thing, and keeping your word are all examples of integrity. These are attributes that social workers should practice as professionals and in their everyday lives. Having integrity is respected both in personal and professional relationships .One needs to display a certain amount of sincerity and morals when working with clients. A social worker, specifically, must uphold the highest level of morality and maintain that level when other people try to challenge their views and test their wills. When social workers are challenged with ethical situations, they have to maintain a sense of integrity to their profession, ethics, and principles. We need to understand that clients have different values and beliefs from our own and as social workers we have to be open to learning about these differences and behave in an ethical manner. Diversity means a myriad of things to people and for me; diversity never was and never will be a bad thing. It is the differences in the decisions that we make, the way we think, act, behave, and choose to live our lives. People tend to be uncomfortable when they mention diversity. Diversity is more than gender and race. People are diverse with their age, personality, experiences. lifestyles and sexual orientations. When we look at diversity, we must look beyond our own race and gender and take a broader view of things that make up the whole person and makes us all unique. We are all unique individuals that want to be treated with respect and dignity and treat others the same way in return. Overall, diversity is what enriches individuals’ lives. For myself, I know that I was able to learn from other cultures and have an open mind when our views differed from one another. For example, I am an individual of mixed heritage: African American and Mexican American. I lived in a small community in Southern Texas in which mostly the population was all Spanish. From the aspect of having lived with individuals from diverse cultures, eventually I learned to speak Spanish. When I moved to California, my views were broadened by other cultures; therefore, I was more open to learning from people of other cultures. I started working at a group home when I noticed that there were diverse individuals from many cultures. For instance, one of my friends I met while working there was from the Philippines. To me, learning about her culture was interesting to me because I connected with her on the level of our shared language, Spanish. I later learned that people have different ways to look at things and often will solve problems in different ways. Sometimes, people need to take a step back from their own selves and look at how we view people who are unlike ourselves. Embracing diversity means committing to looking beyond those unlike us. It is important to be opening minded and non-judgmental when interacting and communicating with people of diverse backgrounds. My cultural background has provided me with the capacity to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I am culturally competent with the ability to speak Spanish and able to relate to those clients that are non-English speaking. I feel that I can assist them in however they need help, whether it is physically or emotionally. Homelessness is a matter of concern anywhere in the world, but is a particular cause for concern and shame when it occurs in the richest nation in the world. The definition of homelessness can vary. It includes not only those who are living on the streets or in shelters and hotels but also those who are living in temporary accommodation or in housing that is unfit for human conditions. There are at least 600,000 homeless men, women, and children in the United States. But one-third of this population is composed of families with children. I’m sure everyone has seen this- people driving by and watching people sleeping on the sidewalks. Or you see someone with a sign saying “I’m hungry, have no money, and need food.” This is really sad because most people assume that people that are homeless are bumbs, drug addicts, or mentally-ill. But that is not true. More and more people that are homeless are women and children. On the one hand, the government should get involved with this is moreResolved Question: Any gay guys that have ever had no sex relationships?
I get along really well with men. I have no sex drive toward men. I am very strongly attracted to women, but I just can't relate to them. Has anyone had a gay relationship but no sex? Is gay being physically attracted or emotionally equal?ok... I have many gay friends, and am able to relate and talk about really deep stuff. conversation with guys is on a much deeper level for me. i just don't have a sex drive for men. moreResolved Question: Why women wants to have rights like men? Eve made for Adam. Not adam for eve.More over the system is different?
No discrimination of gender please. If a woman wants free sex like man she will get pregnancy which lasts for 9 months. A man can not be raped but a female can get raped. Physically men are stronger, while women are not. Then why they want equal rights? Why imitation and competition? You see a female has always the respect like a mother, sister, wife and daughter. The earning is male duty and home looking and growing the children is woman duty. This is no way inferior than men's duty. But all the trouble started only when SHE wanted the place of HE. After all SHE has HE in her. I feel women has a place and they should obey it failing which disaster occurs. What is your opinion? moreResolved Question: Dont you hate it when girls do that .... ?
I am with equal rights to both men and women , but when it comes to insulting , a girl might harass and insult you , but when you respond back ( without physically harming her ) verbally and insult her , she says that you're not a gentleman and you should not talk to a girl like that , they are with equality and equal rights but when they insult and harass you , you dont have any right to respond back because if you do you are not a gentleman moreResolved Question: Does feminism encourage violence against men?
Modern feminism encourages contempt for men ("All men are rapists" etc). It also gives women a sense of being victims of patriarchy, leading many to feel entitled to be abusive towards men. There is evidence for this. A large study found that women who initiated violence against their husband or boyfriend explained their behaviour with statements like "I believe if women truly are equal to men then women should be able to physically express anger at men" and "I feel personally empowered when I behave aggressively against my partner" http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9129375 Do you think that feminism encourages violence against men? If not, how do you explain the reasons women gave for starting fights with their male partners? moreResolved Question: How come feminsits say men and women are physically different, but mentally equal ? zhe mind is ? A divine thing that sends from space to a person ? And if they say men and women are equal, does a low percentage of female race car drivers or engineers or CEOs mean to them that women are discriminated against, since they believe men and women are mentally equal ?Harriet as usual you do not exceed kindergarden level in your argumentations. I hope your general education is in a better state and that you speak at least one other language fluently than your native tounge.Invisible girl I did not mean to say women are dumber. Women outpace men in social intelligence oftentimes for example.Fred L thats why Einstein was nothing special, right ?Please how can men and women be differently equal when gender heavily influences the brain ?ALSO this goes not against feminists per se, but is more a defense of common sense. Men and women are physically different but mentally equal ? The mind is physical, thats why alcohol works just fine on it, so which one is it ?I mean men and women can not be physically different, yet mentally equal. It is not possible, because the mind is physical.Miss shlonky if you deepen your education you will learn that there is more to gender difference than meets the eye. moreVoting Question: Do women feel equal to men?
I don't mean physically, but in other aspects. Critical thinking, decision making, leadership, ect. As far as I'm concerned women and men are equal from the neck up, but I wonder if the average woman feels this way or would she deffer to a man more times than not. moreTop Are Men And Women Physically Equal Links
